Trolls don't get punished but people who get understandably pissed at them do. K.

I get that toxicity is a huge problem in this game, and people flaming someone having a bad game, but getting chat banned for calling out trolls is a joke. First of all snowflakes, THERE IS A MUTE BUTTON. IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED, USE IT.

Second of all, while you can mute a toxic player, YOU CAN'T MUTE THE 0/10 MID, OR THE 0/6 JUNGLER.

So Riot, maybe if you spent less time writing algorithms to chat ban people who are pissed about their teammates borderline inting or straight up trollilng, and more time writing algorithms so that people who win lane 90% of the time didn't get matched with people who go 0/10 in 20 minutes, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A TOXIC COMMUNITY, AND PEOPLE WOULDN'T BE LEAVING YOUR GAME LEFT AND RIGHT.

TLDR; I have no problem with banning toxic players, but there absolutely needs to be a punishment for trolling, because right now the players that go 0/10 in ranked know they're going to lose the same or less LP as you, and you are more likely to be punished for being pissed at them.

How stupid do you have to be to not see how this is rewarding bad behavior, Riot?

You seem to be fairly offended by the fact that you got reported and punished - so, I wouldn't really be talking about "snowflakes", were I you.

but getting chat banned for calling out trolls is a joke.

Calling out trolls is accurate harassment at best, and misguided harassment at worst.

Notice how both when it's true and when it isn't, it's harassment? Because it's harassment. And nobody wants to play a game with some jerk flipping his lid and harassing someone - especially since, in all honesty, calling out a troll and harassing them is more rewarding to them than the punishment system slapping you on the wrists for doing so.

So, honestly, the IFS is fine - flawed, but fine - and you are the one who rewarded bad behavior.

As an aside, I'd like to see your chat logs, just to give a brief review and show you what exactly you can avoid doing in the future. (outside of the obvious of "don't give into trolls", anyway.)

Things that are easy to do: Have a computer flag chat when certain words are used.

Things that are impossible to do: Have a computer or a human determine whether that guy that went 0/10 is trolling or just having a shitty game.

That doesn't give you the excuse to berate your team in chat.

And there's a report button for those who don't have self-control. It goes both ways. Want them to mute you because you can't handle your own anger, that's fine, but they can also report you. Not like they're going to forget what you said to make them mute you. That's why there's a mute button AND a report button.

Snowflakes or not, players who make other players miserable over a video game have no place in League.

There's been at least one noob on my team in, like, the last ten matches I've played. To be fair, I was that noob in at least 1-2 of them.

Life's too short to yell at people for doing poorly. It just detracts from everybody's experience.

literally none of your recent games people had that score unless you're talking about the game with a diana and elise on your team with those scores early on, but hey, you obviously did great that game with less damage than the 2/4/3 support. The fact you also never had a gold or cs lead at any point also totally means you won lane. Literally all yall did bad. Not saying its okay the diana and elise has trash scores but the fact you're trying to lie and justify your toxicity while also having less dmg than the 2/4/3 support playing as trynd really does say something. This is off topic but how are you gold 4 with almost silver 2 mmr

No, parts of this post are accurate. there are trolls, and they use passive aggressiveness to tilt others and get them to flip their lid and they are the ones that get reported and punished. No, it's not ok to be toxic, but when you are pushed to that point repeatedly.

just had a game were our "ADC" wanted to play Zoe, (ranked), the support wasn't having it and banned the Zoe. Now the ADC is kha'zix and he states that he will make sure we won't win the game. upon further research into this guys match history, you clearly see he has been trolling hard for quite a few games. all rank, all defeats. 4/15/1 all Doran rings, 0/11/9 with warmogs(Zoe), I mean I reported him, I hope others did as well. but he nothing happened, still in games, still trolling.

but our top, was really upset, said somethings that he prob shouldn't have, and I bet that kha'zixs reported him and I bet he got in trouble.....that's not fair.
