Stretching Facts to justify reports, force it to fit!.

Anyone else seeing just how trigger-happy people are to make ANY situation THEY dont approve of some sort of reportable offense. I mean there is blatant reportable behavior, but people are going more and more into the "6 degrees of reporting" territory. If a player Is CC'ed in a 4v1 ambush, flailing but failing to get away.. That is now called "Inting" (Intentionally feeding) "OMG report X for inting" Just going 0/1 is now considered "Feeding" In my last game, got no help so started hanging back and playing safe...which is now being "REPORTED for AFK/AFK FARMING" I even had a person tell me they were reporting me for "Inting" and their logic was truly stretching it. It goes as such. "You were standing still" (I was responding to something the enemy said in chat, No one was around, I was not in combat, Just responding to chat) "You were standing still which means you werent playing. You werent playing so you were potentially offering up a kill to the enemy team" "So you are being reported for inting"

It seems like with each passing season, players are looking for more and more dilluted reasons to report someone. Before you know it people will be reporting players for "inting" based on their "potential for deaths". Not the deaths they have gotten, but the potential deaths they COULD incur

More and more people are falling into the trap of having LCS level games, Micromanaging EVERYTHING about their teams (What they build, what summoners they take, How they go about thier role, etc), Instantly beating teammates into the ground for -every- little mistake. Flame thier team for missing last hits. Over and over this community has thier head shoved so far up thier own ass, and stuck with an entitled sense of "my shit dont stink". Thats why over and over I keep seeing the sentiment of "Im too good for this team" People dont want to play WITH thier team, just want thier teammates as witnesses. If thier team doesnt play how -they- want, they will find more and more of a stretch to Punish thier team, further watering down what is and isnt a reportable offense.

I mean dont spend more than 5s in the shop.. or you will be "reported for afk" and dont you dare get CC'ed by an enemy team working together or you will be "reported for intentional feeding/inting" and dont you DARE even think about...well.....Thinking for yourself, having your own builds and strategies, or playing in a way that works for YOU and helps your team win, or you will be "Reported for trolling/greifing"

Lets get rid of this "6 Degrees of Reporting" attitude

Yeah, this is quite obnoxious. People who can't fathom the idea that players may just have bad games sometimes. Not everything is malicious, it doesn't mean they are shit players, sometimes you just lose hard or have an off game and can't land a skillshot. Shit happens.

Ultimately, this boils down to having better education on the system.

If people know that asking for extra reports doesn't get people punished any faster, then they wouldn't call for reports.

I think there was a period when they put that as a loading screen tip, but that tip didn't last on the loading screen. So they probably found that as an ineffective method of education.

I think it still pops up occassionally, but they've added so many lore 'tips' to the mix, actual advice is rare.
