NOT EVERYTHING IS INTING. You lose because you are "too good for this team"

So apparently its not possible to just be OUTPLAYED anymore by an enemy team that uses better teamwork, better strategy, better timing. Nah, its not possible anymore. Any time you die for ANY reason, its now "report for inting"
I am so fucking sick of hearing this for EVERYTHING. Just got out of a Match with a Naut/Draven Enemy bot lane, and the two actually KNEW how to play together. Naut knew how to land his hooks and draven knew to slow and hit with everything. and On my side, Had a morgana who intentionally dived in and a Lux/Pantheon who sat around having a "Too pro for this team" circlejerk. They spend the entire game calling to "Report Bot lane for Inting" which only ended up distracting. And of course a toxic lux constantly puling an "Im done, this trash team" Bs.

I am trying to reform and get back to honor two, I know I have a bit of a temper, (honor 0 from being driven to my breaking point by children who think they are "Too good for this team" .

Every game I see players who are too busy talking about how they are "challenger" and "I dont deserve to be stuck with these trash players". They will spend the entire game bragging about how great THEY are, But wont lift a finger to help anyone else. (and I will be honest I am tired of trying to save teammates just to get reported for "inting" because I help the teammate out but they dont want to help me out) And when the match is over. These players will instantly ignore any context and just call -everything- "report for inting" People in this community are so damn narcissist and full of themselves they no longer WANT to admit that anyone could play better than them, so its easier to just say "You didnt play better than us, Our X lane Intentionally fed, Report them"

I am so sick and tired of absoluletly EVERYTHING being labeled aas intentionally feeding, Even the enemy playing better than these players and it turns into "You didnt beat me, My team intentionally fed you like the trash trolls they are" People cant pull thier head out of their backside so instead of admitting "I played well, you played better" they have to turn around and take the person with the least sparkling kda and instantly turn it into a report for "inting"

This community is losing players because of the FUCKING NARCISSISM that is rampant in this community. everyone thinks they are challenger tier. Everyone thinks they are "Gods gift to league" or "The next faker" and so they spend the entire game berating and degrading teammates for not playing at the "Challenger skill level" they see themselves as (and whatever skill they see themselves as, they expect thier team to play at the same level, Challenger teir in low bronze.....)

Sorry But if you spend the entire game reminding me every 5 seconds how "pathetic dumpsterfire garbage" player I am, you dont get to turn around and cry when I choose not to be around you knowing that no matter how hard I try, it wont meet your "sky high" expectation. And then as I said, These players will turn around and go through the kdas and "Report" anyone who didnt go 25/2 like them for "inting" Its the one reason I refuse to treat ranked with any respect. Respect is earned, Not by telling me how I am a "noob fucking trash" and then calling for reports when I wont come tank the enemy for YOU. Maybe when this community wakes up and pulls its head from its collective ass, stops acting like they can do no wrong. Maybe the community will improve. At the moment all I see are a collection of e-sports toddlers huffed up on thier own self-aggrandizing ego who were never told "there is No -I- in Team" so they think "I flame you so you wont play like such pathetic trash" But if they happen to win, any contribution thier team made goes out the window and it becomes "That win was all me, I carried this trash team"

I know that no one here has mentioned this, and it has a chance of being downvoted, but it shouldn't because it's just critical thinking.

This isn't a knock on you as a person, but I looked at your match history. It's not good, and you've admitted to not being a good player. And that in itself is fine, play all you want, and by playing more you'll hopefully improve.

The issue is you are only playing ranked matches. Which is where you should put your best foot forward. By playing ranked with your history you are automatically putting your team at a disadvantage. You are losing 6 ranked games in a row at a time with scores like 0/11, 1/11, 1/10, etc. You should be trying to improve in normals or aram and not jeopardize players who are trying hard to climb on their own skill. Not by playing a ranked game hoping to get carried to a win.

I can't stop you from playing ranked, and all honesty you should play whatever game type you wish and have fun. But I see this a lot in ranked matches, where a poor player will continue to hit the play rank button and put a team at a disadvantage, and besides leaving the match, this is the biggest catalyst for toxicity in League. Almost no one will be toxic to a carry or close game. Speaking of, in Normal Games there is no reason for toxicity at all. So if you wish to play in a better environment, with less toxicity, play Normals.

This last bit is a hard pill to swallow for a lot of players but since I am talking about the subject here it goes. If Ranked games are treated as a sport, then unfortunately a team itself, unless in pro play, isn't treated as such. What I mean is this. In normal sports, If you are a great/good player then you will start in a game. If you play poorly, you maybe subbed out or benched, if you continue to play poorly you will be kicked off the team. This is the balance system. Unfortunately for online games like this. You cannot sub, bench, or throw out a player on your team. Plus you only have about 30min on average to see if 5 random people can establish teamwork and rhythm. And this is where toxicity comes from, because there is no other system to handle poor performing players, you can't have them not play ranked games or improve to a certain point to play. So players can only stress to someone to play in rec leagues, which in this case is Normals, in whatever language will get that point across.

If your history would show playing more normals or normals at all, there would've been no need for this post.

I've seen people being called "feeders" for having 2 deaths... So yea, it's kind of a problem, but it's just another variation of flaming. Mute them, report them, let Riot deal with them.

Ya I hate how people say that. To me, unless a person AFKs, runs it down mid, or mindlessly split pushes all game (while not being someone who excels at splitting) while you get beat down isn't inting. People get outplayed, people make bad desc ions, but that's not to say they aren't trying.

i'm gonna upvote this thread

seriously, the narcisism and the lack of backbone of the average league player is disgusting

i thought it was bad on normals, but in ranked it's a disaster

never seen anything like that in other competitive online games

i have no idea why people act like complete retards on this game

I blame the streamers tbh

I guess those "Report X for inting" people can be reported under categories "Negative behavior + harassment". After someone starts annoying you, mute, don't retaliate, play to the end, hit the report button, forget it happened. As long as you don't do bad things yourself, you are safe. They might (maybe) get punished some day for their behavior.

Report calling is harassment and Negative attitude (or what is the title of the first report type?) is clear if he starts to whine on people who have done nothing wrong.

Someone on the boards said "inting is when you die to the enemy team" and I got 10 downvotes when I replied to him saying "inting is when you intentionally feed the enemy team".

You dare die first in lane. Fucking degenerate feeding scum.

Update! I got unbanned! Riot agrees, not having the best game isn't inting!

ı Sona ı5/24/2018, 11:53:36 PM1 votes

I currently contacted Riot Support about a scenario where we very much outclassed but I was given a 14-day ban for intentionally feeding! (i've never even been chat restricted..) but I have a lot of confidence that it will be overturned very quickly. :)

SoundChaosDebug5/25/2018, 12:54:37 AM1 votes

The toxic ass community that made ranked games horrifying to play has bled into every other aspect of the game, can't even play a normal mode game with out people flipping tables over at the slightest thing they don't like.

Ifneth5/25/2018, 1:17:08 PM1 votes

As another poster said, you’ve been regularly putting up 10+ death losses. If you’re not intentionally feeding, then you might as well be.

Dr Cat Pooch5/25/2018, 11:00:49 PM1 votes

You can never take people too seriously in chat. They're almost certainly trolling/baiting.

Leetri5/24/2018, 11:35:13 AM1 votes

Doesn't help either that those players give up the literal second something doesn't go exactly how they wanted to. Jungler died once? Better give up, there's absolutely no way to recover from a single death.

Game is so much more fun when you acknowledge how bad you are, ridiculous that kids act like this. An important life skill is being able to see something as a virtue without assuming you have that trait.

And now the boards have invented the term "inting in champ select" to describe... getting a mid matchup that doesn't let you contest the first scuttle. Amazing.

Vearar5/24/2018, 9:00:37 PM1 votes

A lot of the players I've encountered with that personality (I only play normals mind you) hardly EVER have the skill or shred of intelligence required to even begin to talk shit about their fellow teammates. I'll berate an enemy for their mistakes in what I hope and believe to be a constructive manner, and I'll tell off someone who talks shit about their teammate, be they enemy or ally because they usually never even have the ground to say crap like that in the first place.
