Lost a ranked match: Sion afks "I had to go eat"

So lost another match with a sion who waited till like 5 minutes into the match to afk. Doesnt return till about the 20-22 minute mark, the enemy already fed and in our base. His excuse "I had to go eat" If you know you are gonna have to go DONT QUEUE UP, Especially in ranked.

Just because "I had to go eat" is not an excuse for fucking over 4 other players on your team, leaving them a man short and ending up in a loss. If you know you have to leave or wont be able to commit the full match, DONT LOOK FOR A MATCH!!!! I dont want to lose matches because someone decides in the first 5 minutes of the match "y'know, I gotta go take a shower" and screws over the team.

TLDR: If you cant stay the full match, if you think something is gonna come up. DONT QUE FOR A MATCH.

I doubt earting or not eating during your match was life and death. Most people are fat enough to survive weeks of no eating.

Not telling someone not to eat, but I can't imagine many at this point, not being familiar enough with MOBA's to not be aware of how long a match could potentially take. With how long matches use to be, there wasn't a great deal of surprise when food or the like would interrupt a match, but even then, it was seen as a problem if they were to completely abandon the game in the midst of the match. Now'a days though, a match can last as little as 15 minutes. If people can't plan around that, and they deliberately abandon a match, they're as good as a troll.

Not all players are adults who are allowed to come and go as they fancy, many players are children who, when their mom says it's time to eat, IT'S FUCKIN TIME TO EAT.

Yea I used to be the same way when I was a kid.

Yeah, that's a pain. However, sometimes they don't know they have to eat, then are suddenly told by their parents "come eat or you're grounded, your food is getting cold." Not saying it's justified but that it happens sometimes.

Who died ? How much was the property Damage? Did someone lose a Tournament match in the finals?

Don't you guys see how trivial these things are. REAL LIFE should take precedence over this. Its a game for kids.. Yes their parents will pull them off the computer to eat, and to go to bed, and do chores. The reality is its a game for kids, if you are 18+ you should be focused on your work or school or life or wife. And if you're under 18.. your parents own your @$$ and you do what they say..

Keep in mind, he could have just as easily lied and said his mom needs to go to the hospital, but he chose to say the truth.. And here he is getting condemned. lol

I literally lost 6 ranked games in a row because of afks. I think riot should make it that if there's an afk before 15 minutes it automatically becomes a draw, not a defeat, it's not right for you to lose a ranked game just because someone else afks. It's beyond our control so we shouldnt be punished for the actions of someone else

That's what you get by allowing 13- year olds play an online competitive game. I can imagine the kid's parents called him to eat and then it would probably be game time over, so he tried to maybe bust another game.
