@Riot; What happened to "Banned from ranked" punishment?

Obviously it was removed, but I find that would be a lot more reasonable of a punishment for boosted players and trolls than straight up permaban from the game.

If I was permabanned from ranked I'd pretty much quit the game, but I know this is not the case for the majority of players.

Banning players from ranked doesn't stop them from continuing their unwanted actions in other gamemodes.

many of them ended up trolling in normal games instead. which is just as bad.

It was probably removed because it was deemed ineffective. I say probably because I don't know for sure, but that's most likely the case.
