Inting

Edit: Downvote if you want. This is only to inform players of how things are. Telling me not to report someone who has ruined my time in a game with their Disco Nunu does nothing to change this, since I alone don't have the power to instantly permaban someone.

Just so everyone knows, there's been a history of players getting punished for intentionally feeding even if that's not exactly what they were doing. Why? Because they don't want to add in a bunch of different reports. Just because what you did wasn't running down mid, doesn't mean it's okay with the community.

Some people who get punished feel it's unfair, but you only get punished after quite a few reports of this nature. The community has control over these punishments. At the point where you're getting punished for feeding even though you claim to have been trying to win as AP Volibear, Crit Thresh, Mid Lucian, you need to realize that the community at large agrees that the rule in the Summoner's Code about doing your best to try to win starts in champion select.

Obviously, if you're not stupid you can see that that doesn't mean you have to pick the #1 winrate champion every game, but it stands to reason that you're to play a champion with items to fit the scalings they actually have and in a role they perform well in. Sometimes that role changes, but it's not up to the silver level norms crowd to be the innovators.

If you get punished for continuously going 0-7 as AP Volibear mid, you will be unable to get that punishment lifted. With that outcome, it doesn't matter if you claim you weren't intending to do so. You make it abundantly clear that you didn't intend to win with your pick in the first place.

How about you let people play what they want.

You can't be punished for playing off-meta. Just because they go with an odd pick doesn't mean they aren't trying to win. There are many facets to a champion pick and how that pick fits in with the team and its goals to win.

Intentionally feeding is unrelated to champion selection:

Feeding is intentionally ruining the game for others by giving up kills in an effort to give the enemy an advantage, not having a bad game.
