Altough this is not necessarily an "attack thread", it could be considered as one. I'm not saying he'll be banned, but he could be. If you piss the right people off, stuff like this can happen; and it's justified.

The video is titled "go f*** yourself". He's also directing this specific discussion at "a Mod"; whichever one that is. I think that this could be considered an attack, don't you?
If you see it from my prespective you'll understand. Imagine that you are walking down the street, near a police station, and you throw junk to the ground. The policeman sees this and tells you to pick up what you've thrown away (that's a crime after all). You then ignore what the policeman said and tell him to "go f*** yourself". What outcome do you expect from that action? This is a "similar" case, since Mods could be considered the "police force" of the boards.

You are correct. You didn't necessarily attack anyone. My second statement (original post) was "Not that he'll care that much about this". Mods have thick skin ;)

Nope, you just posted a suggestion. Not in any way implying you would do it to them.
If mods can't handle a little cactus now and then, they at least should consider it practice to grow thicker skin. Or if they can't handle it at all, they are in the wrong place.

I just said that you shouldn't harrass a mod. Also, don't confund Riot with Moderators. Moderators (most of them) are volunteers. They don't get paid by Riot nor do they influence Riot's decision in any way. The boards are used as a meeting ground for players and Rioters (some of them) alike. Dynamic queue is a whole different discussion that has been talked way to much for my liking. I'm not going to delve into that. Because I DO CARE about the community - and you are part of the community - I was just letting you know of the possible outcome of your actions, so that you could emend them.

Moderators in NA are all paid positions, not volunteers. However yes, we aren't Rioters. Riot makes the rules for the Boards and we enforce those rules.
A post like this is effectively Moderation feedback and belongs in this section. The posts were removed/redirected correctly, so we just shrug it off and move on.
