Offer An Unmoderated Mode

It feels really stiffing to not be able to make jokes or criticize anyone. I'd rather take the flame than live in this box where almost anything can be taken as toxic. I realize some players are too sensitive to deal with the world without censorship and an overactive punishment system. That's fine. Let them play their game but give me a totally unmoderated chat mode as well. I'm not a 13 year old kid. I'm an adult and I can handle it. What I find way worse is not being able to discuss even strategy or to use arguments and logic without being in fear of a punishment. The chat is just useless. I can't even say "report our inter" when a player is 0/17 or "report our afk" if someone's been gone for 15 minutes. Yeah, maybe people would report anyway but it's just silly that even the most egregious offenses cannot be discussed. It's like having a big bear in the room eating all your chocolates and you just change the channel on the TV and tell yourself he's not here.

I want to improve and I want to play with people who take competition seriously. I don't want to play with these low ELO high EGO types of players who can't handle any feedback and even find calls "toxic" because they don't want to be "bossed around." They can take their thin skins and emotional problems to a separate mode that doesn't let anyone say shit to them. That's fine by me. Just give the OPTION of an unmoderated full toxic chat experience. Still ban people for inting, punish afkers etc. but leave the chat for adults. Maybe you can have this mode require permission to use if you're afraid of kids dealing with it. It feels so childish right now to not be able to communicate anything but the most bland and positive statements. Again, keep your automated bot and whatever else you want, but LET ME HAVE MY GAME BACK! Let players express themselves and speak their mind.

You don't need to be toxic or an ass to "express yourself".

You shouldn't be able to randomly speak your mind when it is just cutting other people down and flaming people. I am however more than happy to stick people like you somewhere else in this game because I'd prefer getting you out of my experience as much as you want your own.

Riot, however, is never going to do that so just stop being toxic. It really isn't that hard. I've been playing since 2010 and have not gotten as much as a warning, and I curse in game, I've complained now and then at teammates, but there is a point where you have to not be a toxic d-bag about it. You can "express yourself" without needing to be toxic about it.

Perhaps people don't want to be criticized while enjoying a leisure activity.

This would just be bratty children running their mouths and would be unspeakably, hilariously toxic.

Queue would be dead on arrival, and the few brats would quickly realize they dont like having freedom to rage at everyone if everyone can do it right back at them.

Just watch bjerger king interview with Thorin 'Reflections', he told he was toxic before, he told sven was toxic before and sven is a real sweet guy IRL. It's just that NA as Region has a snowflake mentality. And these past years they tried to impose it on other regions, but other regions have different culture, they don't take this kind of sissy sheeeet. I just had a game with a guy wishing me cancer in ARAMs, did it effect me fk no. But in NA people are like that guy just wished another person cancer he must be the most horrible person after hitler. No he is not, it's just in the heat of the moment, that doesn't mean he is a horrible guy irl.

People just need to grow some skin, it doesn't even need to be a thick skin. Currently people just hate each other so much, they want excuses to be offended.

I don't see why this post is getting attention.

You're requesting a toxic environment on a platform meant for people to enjoy. Would you enjoy your workspace or sports game you were in to be filled with colleagues constantly berating you or racially discriminating against you?

There's no need to be a dickhead in the virtual or real world. If you feel compelled to do so, you may use a mirror as your target or some other form of stress relief.

The real question is, why would you even need to ask for reports?

More reports doesn't get anyone punished faster in anyway what so ever.

So why even ask for it?

They need to add a mode that is moderated ONLY in terms of gameplay (no trolling, inting, afking, leaving), but otherwise Chat should be free range.

well, i think people who constantly flames/become report targets are most likely the ones to have thin skins/emotional problems

Just give the OPTION of an unmoderated full toxic chat experience.

because it's so fun, right!?

leave the chat for adults.

you're not asking for a chat for adults, but for a chat for kids actually, where you can be as douchy as you want without any repercussions

It feels so childish right now to not be able to communicate anything but the most bland and positive statements.

not really, it's just a matter of approaching people in a mature way, like, you know, you would do in real life?

Let players express themselves and speak their mind.

can't you do that without any form of harassment?

..just grow up, dude.

People who take competition seriously don't concentrate on competing with their teammates.

If you're going to win at the game, try to win with them not against them.

"Still ban people for inting, punish afkers etc. but leave the chat for adults."

Yes, because when I think of someone swearing uncontrollably and flaming someone for an innocent mistake, I DEFINITELY picture a mature adult and not a 13 year old boy with anger issues.

Suggesting ideas is very different to being toxic.

I agree. In regards to bratty children abusing this system,

You have bratty adults trying to moderate a conversation or a joke on a video game. You can't even make Mexican jokes without being banned for 2 weeks immediately, even if it's completely and totally obviously a joke. Muting people works out fine, and you don't have the right to say that you not only deserve a safe space but you also deserve the ability to moderate what other people are saying when you've already muted them.

That's absolutely insanity working along with entitlement of an environment that not everybody is asking for.
