So as youll see my ign is Temptress. It was too match my friend for a theme. And low and behold people now know I'm a girl as if that even mattered in the first place. If I could copy and paste how many games where it's "this is why I don't like girl players" "this is why girls suck at league" "girls are trash" "egirls suck" repeatedly REPEATEDLY. I report them every fucking time and riot literally doesn't give a shit and usually I'm not big on sexism or things so hot topic, but when it happens every game in the majority OF your games it is just fucking stupid. I legit was like 18/4 and I got flamed for being a girl like what the ?

But you chose that name for you and no one else. You know that what you put up can be judged and ridiculed even its not rational, so why would you be surprised that temptress invited stupid comments? Its the internet

I get comments all the time about "your name is so cringe" or whatever the hell "nerd this" or even with my picks "typical x main" I throw that shit onto the same pile as any other leaguer who's like "you suck" just to say it

Sexism is a pretty big issue, yes. I'm not a woman, but I used to have a feminine sounding summoner name and I got harassed fairly regularly until I changed it. I actually changed it for totally different reasons, but I can confirm this is an issue and I'm not sure why people are downvoting this.

Not to try and belittle the issue, but people will find ammunition from literally anywhere. If you're a different race, gender, sexuality, literally anything that can be used in a derogatory way by nasty people, they will use it against you.

Your IGN makes it obvious your a girl so you're gonna get that thrown at you. If you're a one-trick with a character specific name you'll get that thrown at you instead.

It sucks, but don't take it personally as sexism, take it as people flaming on the internet, and report them. Just because you dont get an instant feedback report popup doesn't mean said person wont go on to get banned for continued offenses - And if they are the sort of person to do it in the first place chances are they will do it again, and it will bite them in the end.

simple thing. as flamebaiting seems to be a thing, if they start flaming you you could try to get em to say a lot of nasty things. You can be friendly, and if your KDA is better u could simply say "hows it feel, with a bad KDA playing in the same round as a girl who can play" "look my KDA little boy, you just got your shit handed to you by a "girl"" "u pissed that a woman is better than u?" This will obviously prompt a sexist message, if not, theres a good lots of more lines u can also use. Fight poison with poison, because sooner or later those guys get banned.

Don't know why mobas are different but I play only female champs with female names on MMOs.

I've gotten SOOOO much free loot and help it isn't funny. It's defiantly 10x better to be a female in a MMO than a male.

My Ign gets me flamed EVERY time I lose a game, but get me ZERO compliments when I win.

just ignore them:P You gotta think about it from Riots perspective.. If that person is just saying "This is why I dont like girl players" you cant honestly tell me thats worth a mute/ban? Different story if its a ton of horrible things they say, but if they just notice you're a girl and comment on it, then they shouldnt be punished. Its a douchey thing to do, and they are childish for doing it, but its not worthy of a ban.
