I got my comments removed for calling someone a troll

That someone called me a "fucking child". He said that a snare is not a hard CC and refused to listen to argument. I called him a troll. I then proceeded to get my comments removed for harassment. The boards have questionable ways of moderating language.

my direct quotes "ts the troll guy again! do you know how rengars kit works? If he has 5 stacks of ferocity his E turns into a snare! amazing!" "you are a pure troll goodbye" As you can see I didn't even swear in either of the comments.

Year there are some assholes on league of legends who relish getting people suspended, restricted, banned. I got reported and my post removed for calling someone bronze.

The post was something like dude, youre bronze, stop arguing. Anyway best way is to add the guy on private chat and just stick ur foot up his butt.

I understand what youre saying. I realize this. But there isnt much you can do because Riots tribunal is a bunch of idiots and a computer system that works with the efficiency of a chinese product/ made in china.

Like I said add him on private chat and let him know how you feel and then be done with it. Or ignore him.

He is a known troll, he reports your post when you remotely insult him and gets it deleted. I got one of mine for calling him a moron, He has 2 friends or alt accounts and he reports your posts with every one of those accounts so you get 3 reports per post.

Sad but The Curator won't do anything about that guy. Coz The Curator doesn't care.

Yeah it was pretty good. I'm incredibly annoyed that the curator hasn't done anything about it though.

Just because the person hasn't gotten permabanned from the boards it doesn't mean nothing is being done. maybe we should just always answer with variations of:

^This is bait

when something troll is said? Or could that be perceived as spam?

If your purpose in posting in someone's discussion is to "call them out" then that is technically harassment and can be actioned. If you don't like a discussion, downvote it (where pertinent) and move on with your life.

The purpose of a discussion is to talk about the subject in the OP. If all you're doing is coming in and talking about the player making the post and trying to derail the conversation, then that is harassment. It doesn't matter if you do it with name-calling or subversion, you're not participating in the discussion.

I'm not sure how to more clearly define harassment for you. It's about the purpose of your post, not what you call them.

i looked up the definition of harassment and the exact dictionary definition is "aggressive pressure or intimidation." That seems to pertain to real life so...

verbal harassment "Verbal abuse is the excessive use of language to undermine someone's dignity and security through insults or humiliation, in a sudden or repeated manner." I mean, i guess "this is bait" loosely falls under the umbrella of verbal harassment.

Pretty sure we're being told to ignore the humans posting irrelevant/bait stuff, downvote if appropriate. In other words, not feed the fire at all, with the same premise that in-game chat has.

I'd rather run the risk of "feeding the fire" if i have the chance of letting someone know that the person is baiting others, just so they don't ruin their day by talking to someone being rude on purpose.

That's odd because I just reviewed this account's action history and you've had zero posts removed by us, ever.

I reviewed the removals in that discussion and both parties had their posts removed and received warnings.

For the record, when someone makes a post and you come in and immediately call them a troll and don't say anything about their post, that's harassment. You've already had one suspension for insults/harassment so I suggest you try to learn from this.

I only reported him out of spite. I did get suspended and i did learn. I did not know that calling someone a troll was now a heinous and suspendable act. I used to have respect for the mod team. Now i seem to be losing it.
