Riot, With Alll These Changes, How About One That Matters?

You know, the change that reimburses fair, honest players for LP lost to afk's, trolls, intentional feeders, role thieves, and flamers. Something people have requested for a long, long time only to be shut down repeatedly by the argument, it would be abused.

Well, what about the "abuse" that we undergo on a daily basis?

Can we have a change that actually deals with the scum of the game effectively? A change that could altogether eliminate this 'elo hell' that you've insisted on making people suffer for ten long years?

Any plans in that department where people aren't regularly subjected to mistreatment of others and subsequently punished by the game for being unable to turn a bad situation around?

There's a saying. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”― Edmund Burke

Do good and right by your players and make this game enjoyable not 50% of the time, but 100% of the time!

If you "reimburse" players for lost LP when they get an AFKer on their team then you will get people bullying feeders on their team to try to get them to AFK so they will not lose points.

Its a nice idea but its too easy to abuse and it will just cause more toxicity.

maybe .. after the new client released, we can have more behavioral features and tweaks to anything in regards to it.

who knows.

Perhaps it's just me, but I don't really come across any of this when I play.

Whether I play with a full team of friends, half, or none, the game is still pretty enjoyable. I probably get 1 toxic player every 50 games or so. It's never consistent and doesn't happen often enough for me to remember.

Granted, I've played with some utterly disgusting individuals, but again, it's very rare that I come across those people in games.

I mean, this is just my experience, as is your post your experience. So neither of us are really right on what the average game looks like. But honestly, I don't see this as being that big of an issue as the boards makes it to be.

Ranked or normals, I don't see dire enough to warrant this kind of extreme measure from Riot. /shrugs

The most I could see needed is just more transparency when it comes to successful reports, instead of only getting one if your report was the finals straw. But compensation LP? Na, not really needed. We have the remake system which is a great addition since that is the only legitimate need for unfair LP loss, and easily proven by an automated system. But that's just me.
