I dont really think that you check them..there is no way people who flamed everybody just get away with it..i just had a vayne who feed,trolled,and flamed and guess what dear Riot, 3 PEOPLE REPORTED HER,and we havent received any report feedback...Can you work on that instead of reworking and releasing new champs and skins? maybe focus on the enviroment of your game instead of new things? What does it take to ban someone ? x9 reports? at least answer me that so i wont waste my time on writing an essay of what they did.

Basically the entire front page of this section of the forum is comprised of people whining about getting banned for flaming, so clearly at least SOME reports are resulting in action =P

But yeah, only the person who makes the final report to trigger a punishment gets notified. Not a huge fan of that, personally, but it is what it is.

You only receive that message if your report was the one that punished them. Not getting it doesn't mean they weren't punished, rather it wasn't your report alone that punished them. Also, it takes a pattern of consistently negative behavior in order to be punished.

The system works off of the number of games players got reported on, not off the number of reports they got each game. 9x is as good as 3x which is as good as 1x.

Well it certainly isn't one game... and dear god, how long will people believe 'WELL all 10 of us in game reported him! HE EVEN REPORTED HIMSELF' no no no, 1 report = game flagged. How many people does it take to turn on a light? If 9 people turn on the light, is it turned on more? no, no it isn't

On top of all the comments mentioned here already (9x report = 1 x report & when you see the notification), Riot is aware that their system's visibility sucks. It often gives people the feeling that the system doesn't do anything.

New behavioral features (that improve visibility) coming soon after the new client is up and running smoothly. Hopefully we get something like this.

Love people that actually think this matters. The number of reports is meaningless. Someone said that the enemy team about me on a smurf last night and I just laughed cause it did nothing and it does nothing.

Nope. They use an automated system.
