No, it isnt. Especially not in bronze. This whole community has such a disgusting sense of arrogance and ego

Every single game I see children who treat the game like its a free for all, Who will actively IGNORE towers so they can chase kills all over the map. Then they turn around and brag about all thier kills (while towers remain untouched) and talk about how "cant carry this trash team" I really am sick of it. I am at the point where I dont even want to play like a team anymore. I am completely numb to this arrogant, self entitled POS Community so wrapped up in thier self grandize "Im too good, my team is trash, Im a challenger smurf" attitude.

Everyone comes onto this game and then acts like they are just way too good for thier team. As Long as THEY get the most kills SOLO (while they ignore thier team, ignore objectives, ignore everything else but thier kda) who cares about the outcome of the match. And Yeah, I am at that point. NO I dont see myself as "Too good for this team". Infact yeah I know how "Trash" I am. I have to listen to it every single day from arrogant children who pat themselves on the back and feel the best way to keep thier inflated ego from being brought down is to make sure everyone on their team knows just How GODLY AMAZING the player is and how "dumster fire trash" the rest of the team (that isnt them) is.

Yeah. You can play with friends. But good luck trying to climb when your friends arent there. All it takes is ONE player who thinks they are too good for everyone else to decide "Hey, I am so good, I can 1v5, I dont need a team" and just like that, your win is gone. People are too busy making sure they have the most polished kda on the board.

Been In Matches where it goes on 30 minutes, 28 + Kills.......AND NOT A SINGLE TOWER is downed. Players go to lane, Sit, wait for kills. Take kills, Back, return to lane, repeat! They wont kill and enemy then push the lane, nah, they will back to base then repeat. All the while they are too busy trying to get the rest of thier team (who certainly isnt as good as THEM) banned by labelling EVERYTHING as Inting, everything as greifing. (apparently now Standing STILL, Not moving....to respond to the chat...is now INTENTIONALLY FEEDING)

Everyone is too busy running solo competing to care about winning (as long as they go 19/2, they still get to brag about how they "Couldnt carry this trash team" in a defeat screen despite not touching a single tower) So Yeah. I am reaching my breaking point I dont Int (I have more self respect than that) But I no longer care about my teammates. If we lose? I no longer care about that either. Nah I WANT to win, and I DO try. But I go into each match predicting a loss...and that is usually the case. Not for my lack of trying, but because teammates are too busy inflating their kda and telling thier team how "pathetic trash" they are and then try to mount an EPIC COMEBACk......When the enemy team is KNOCKING ON OUR NEXUS! and then just to make themselves feel better, they will sit there and pick the person who got camped, who got focused while they were busy chasing thier solo kills (usually the support, cuz not like their team is important or anything) and then suddeny call "Report the support for intentional feeding" When support spent the game getting CC;ed and 4v1'ed while adc was running away trying to chase the solo on the other end of the map or didnt want to help teammates because it might blemish their perfectly preserved kda.

So Yeah, Any thoughts I had about this being a team game are out the window. This whole community is nothing but a bunch of spoiled entitled little halo kids more concerned with "How amazing am I!" to give a twitches tail about the rest of thier team. This isnt a team game, its a pissing contest for kills. If its not affecting YOUR lane, Its not your problem. But the moment someone doesnt go where you want, build what you want, then suddenly they arent "playing like a team". Oh but if they need your help, well to hell with that because it might possibly add a +1 to the D in K/D/A

Way to go riot. You are so focused on telling everyone how they dont need a team to be an E-sports champ, that playing the team game doesnt make THEM look glorious (I blame the god damn "S" Hunters who only care about patting themselves on the back, happy to screw over their team so they can manufacture an S every single game "I cant help you or I wont get an S this game") So again, I dont Int, I wont Int. Never have Never will. But I no longer give a rats ass about my teams. Because clearly the feeling is mutual. A whole community of spoiled children bent on spending every game patting themselves on the back. Who cares about winning, all that matters is how good players look SOLO. League isnt a team game. Its a gamble, and 9/10 you lose. Just gonna Farm levels in ranked. No point in considering the other 4 players on my team little more than an impassible wall, Not even worth aknowledging.

Sick of deluding myself pretending this was a team based game. No more. 1v9? you got it.

your matched with 4 people and pitted against another 5. that by definition makes it a team game, no matter if the others feel like acting like team players.

but yeah its gonna feel crappy being that it feels like no one listens. there isn't much you can do about it until you reach the point of being able to 1v9

I used to be a team player, especially when I started playing in season 3. I was willing to do whatever I could to help the team. Now all I see are children with overinflated egos talking about how "Garbage" thier teammates are and how they "dont deserve this trash team" They sit there bragging about how amazing they are and how completely dumpster fire thier team is, If you make ONE mistake they will use it to hold over your head the entire match. I am at the point where I cant trust my teammates at all, They dont even exist to me. So when they try and lvl 1 dive a 5-man invade, they spend the rest of the game flaming and degrading me because I dont dive in right along with them. Even accusing me of "greifing'. I dont greif, I just cant trust my teammates. So all I can do Is just ignore my teammates, act like they dont exist. As I said. If people do play as a team, its still possible to pull me out of my shell, but other than that I really just cant work up the energy to even aknowledge my teammates knowing that they will most likely spend the entire game waiting for a kill to show up on thier mini and then run off to go chase that while the rest of the enemy team 3/4-mans our towers in mid or abushes me in bot...(while the rest of the team fights over who gets the +1 kill solo player in top lane.

Bronze players can't coordinate as a team, hence they are bronze.

Yeah I get players who cant seem to draw a connection. They dont know why they lost...But they brag "I had most kills on the team. Look at all MY kills. Look at how -I- did the most damage on the team" (Me, me me, look at me, Look how amazing -I- am) Or "Omg u are such garbage, You are such pathetic trash. You are garbage, your build is garbage, Your play is garbage! You did absolutely Nothing for the team. YOu are completely useless" and then in Post game "We would have won if you had just done what I told you. All you had to do was listen to ME and you wouldnt be such trash"

Yeah, Flame and degrade people on your team, Make then feel like complete and total shit so you (the community, not...YOU you...) can feel some smug sense of superiority "I'm better than you, do what I say because I am the best on this team" and then when the match is lost "You are complete garbage, why wouldnt you listen to me.

Flame, degrade, and insult someone...Then genuine confusion as to why they dont want to listen to you, dont want to do what you say? dont want anything to do with you? (again, COMMUNITY "you", Not you personally skye) Quite the head-scratcher mystery, isnt it?

Everyone is too busy patting themselves on the back and telling themselves how they all are Off-season LCS champs, just waiting for that invitation in the mail, right?

and Now, Its too late. I stopped considering this a team game, I stopped caring about my team (though I still do have a reflexive habit of -trying- to save teammates in trouble, gotta break that habit, doesnt do me any good Players only use "its a team game" as an excuse for "you wont do what I say/build what I want, go where I tell you to" But as soon as a player needs help and looks to a teammate for help it becomes "If I helped you, I would have died with you. I am not gonna be a feeder like you"

and the sad thing is, this community is too stuck up and full of itself to try and do something, they just use "I looked u up" or "ward more" or "Just play safer" (even when the enemy can 3v1 dive you and your teammates wont even blink....though they will still call to report you for "inting")

Oh know, I know I screw up, at least I am willing to admit it. But My mistake is having faith in a community that is only interested in "look at me, look at all MY kills" I mean I just got out of a match where my team cleared the lane, took the kills in bot lane....and completely IGNORED the tower. Then tell me how I am "trolling" because I dont have as many kills as them....while the enemy team is taking out our towers like they are nothing.

So yeah, I know that my lack of skill contributes to a loss. But everyone else is so busy "look at me me and all MY kills" and acting like thats all that matters. SO I am done trying to pretend this game is a 'team' game when people only care about thier solo KDA. But the only time they consider this a 'team' game is when they want someone on their team to dump the blame on.

Honestly it feels like a Call of Duty Mentality from back when i use to play quite a few years ago on xbox where the K/D was more important and trick shots then actually objective play and wins. Honestly i use to be that way but when i noticed (around the time i switched to battlefield and other games) i realized k/d isn't gonna matter to anyone if you end up losing all your games [slayer-jinx-unamused]

That is exactly what I am saying. People come onto this game, which -claims- to Be a TEAM (now in name only) oriented, OBJECTIVE based game. And then they turn around and basically just chase kills. They DONT care about playing as a team, Because helping teammates means "less kills for me" to them. They will spend 30 minutes and rack up 30 Kills But the moment I suggest "hey we should stop chasing Kills and focus on taking towers" it becomes "stfu noob, look at your kda. I got all the kills, I am carrying your asses" and then they run solo repeatedly into a 1v4 because they think they are SO Op that they dont need teammates. Or If a teammate asks for help, the players will sit there and watch because they want the person AHEAD of them to die so that they can jump in for cleanup kills

Yeah you can have all the kills in the world, But it means fuck all when the enemy is the one focussing towers. And the sad thing is alot of these players will rack up double digit Kdas (16/1, 19/2, 25/3, etc) And yet they wont push towers untill the ENEMY takes our Inhibs By then when the player decides "ok lets win this" (again after shutting me down and degrading me for suggesting taking towers 5-10 minutes ago) its already too late. Most of the time the lead is gone, the momentum is lost.. And the enemy is too far ahead to mount a comeback. And these players will sit around and go into all chat "/all: I got the most kills but cant carry this trash team, report my team of feeders" as if the player dicking around and stroking thier ego played NO PART in the loss.

thats why I say, these players are so wrapped up in themselves, they dont mind losing as long as they can brag "I got the most kills, I carried this trash team, blah blah blah"

Just had a Tahm who acted like the diver you mentioned. Got invaded, I backed away but threw up a sand soldier to try and deter the enemy. He stayed 5 balls deep into them then question mark spammed me asking why I didn't help.

Look, I get it, ya feel like I let you die... And I did, because I wasn't going to all in and feed more kills.

Yeah I had a jungler spend the entire game telling me how completely worthless and pathetic I was, spend the entire game telling me how me how "standing still" is "intentional feeding. And it all started because I refused to dive in along with him when the enemy did a 5-man invade on his bot side red and I wasnt about to let myself die. I didnt dive in with him and so he tells me the entire game how "Garbage" and "worthless" I am.

Too long didnt read past word bronze BUT it IS a team game. Nature of the game does not change just because your team does not cooperate.
Its like saying - "muscles is that matters the most in the game of chess! Other day i kicked my opponent in the head and walked away with his king. GG EZ. Imagine long would it take if i just sat there like retard moving pieces back and forth?"

Havok, I read your post, and I can see your frustration. I've been there, we've all been there. But look, you're in Bronze V. You can ONLY go up. if I may, I'd like to offer you some advice that's gotten most people I know from Bronze into Silver (and what my Plat and Diamond buddies suggest as well). It's up to you if you take it or leave it.

You're letting chat tilt you way too hard. /mute all the moment you start a game.

I can't tell for sure from your match history... but I'm guessing you're a Bot main? If so, great. Stick to two or three champs (I see Ashe, Siver, and Trist, those are fine).

Focus on farming up and not dying during laning. You're in bronze V, so don't worry about any super macro play just yet. Farm up, don't die. This alone will get most players to Silver V. Farm up, don't die.

Stick to this for the next 20 games. You SHOULD see some improvement.

been there, done that. Still lost because children decided chasing their solo kda and ignoring towers was more important than winning. Their personal kda, how many kills they rack up SOLO is more important than actually ending the match. If team needs help? Nah not gonna happen. It doesnt feed thier killstreak. It doesnt get them an ez penta.

If I try and farm, I can get 4v1'ed by bot, jungle, and mid. And when I ask that mid actually Ping their MIA I get told "Stfu and place wards" (despite already haveing wards out) Yeah I screw up, but please dont patronize me with the "Just farm and u win" routine.

It's not patronizing, it's trying to get you to think positively. It's imparting what's worked for every single person I know who actually tries it. I suggested you mute people, and you say you've "been there, done that" and immediately tell me that "I ask that my mid actually Ping their MIA"... so you're NOT muting anybody.

Anyway, I took an interest because I was bored. As I said, take it or leave it, and best of luck getting out of Bronze V.
