Can we PLEASE be able to mute individual pings instead of the whole team?

Last game I had I presume a Duo Kog'maw and Akali spamming me pings all game 24/7 because im warwick and didnt gank at lvl 3.

Through out this entire 40 minute encounter, it got really fucking annoying, but I didn't mute because well pings are important and teh other two people on my team actually used them for what they're meant for.

Please can we mute individual pings?

I would much rather have the ability to close the chat box entirely. Pings are important, the stuff people say in chat... not so much, and it clutters my screen up... i would rather have the ability to close the box entirely. muting a player... just isn't enough anymore.
