Ranked: Players more interested in chasing kills, than taking the nexus.
Its starting again, More and more teams are becoming Nothing more than People competing with teammates to see who can fight over the most kills They cry and complain over "you KS me" while the dragon will go untouched (untill the enemy takes it). It seems like I am the only one who actually tries to take towers. I can watch a bot lane tower sit at 5-10 Hp while the team fights over a SINGLE kill in top lane and then spends 10 minutes crying over "u stole my kill. ur trash"
Meanwhile the enemy drops our towers like they are nothing. But the easiest way for them to distract the team is to throw a sacrificial kill in top lane. I have watched all 4 people on the enemy team go after bot lane tower, they put an easy solo player top lane...and EVERYONE else on my team goes after the kill, fighting each other for who can secure it. Meanwile I die trying to defend the bot lane tower solo, and then get told how much of a "Feeder" I am and how i need to be "banned from the game for feeding"
I am really getting pissed off and frustrated with this "Only kills matter" attitude. If you want to focus on your kills, if you cant see beyond your own kda, GTFO THE GAME. I am sick and tired of losing matches because people think how good thier solo kda looks in game is more important than....WINNING THE MATCH. People will ignore towers, avoid objectives, completely ignore grouping (especially in bronze) because a notion "If i help the team, they might steal my kills" Rather than focus on taking the nexus, they screw everyone else over and avoid all towers. I had a recent match where we were losing our towers steadily, the team was too busy chasing kills while ignoring towers. They seemed to think that having ONE tower down in 30 minutes meant we were winning. meanwhile the enemy relentlessly drops our towers while the teammates split off in 4 different directions after thier SOLO kills. And the icing on the cake, I will get told how I need to be reported as an "intentional feeder" for being the only one trying to defend the towers while the rest of the team is all fighting each other to kill ONE solo player in top lane (obvious bait)
I see this game like chess, 5 players, 5 different roles, All working towards ONE goal (Rook, queen, king, bishop, knight, etc) But rather than take the nexus (Checkmate) kids would rather sit around and throw the chess pieces at each other, bragging about how many times they hit the other team. Who cares about winning when you can just throw pieces at each other (go for kills)
This is about people coming onto a TEAM game, and then turning around to treat it like Some call of duty free for all some quake deathmatch.
THE ONLY WAY TO WIN IS THE NEXUS! The enemy team is not gonna spontaniously run out of kills and declare you the winner because you didnt bother with towers but went 19/1/3 Drop the damn Free for all Mentality and get your head out of your a$$. Bronze has become unwinnable because people are too greedy and too busy patting themselves on the back over thier "killstreaks" even when thier solo attitude results in a loss for the rest of the team. Because who cares about winning when you can brag about how you got the most kills on the team, so you MUST be OP. Even While the REST OF THE TEAM has to stare at the "DEFEAT" screen because rather than help your team, you felt running off after those solo kills was more important than helping your team against a tank onslaught. But hey, They are just your "trash team", not as good as you, right?
