Those of you saying you got banned for third party programs for no reason...

I ask what you have on your computer cause every post i see says "I have Curse/Discord and... (a third party program that has no impact on gameplay whatsoever.)" I always see this. But they never specify what that program is. Except ive seen someone specify Overwolf.

If you truly are innocent, then what are these programs. Because i am POSITIVE one of those is the reason you got banned. Wether or not it impacts gameplay, the system must have flagged it.

Curse is the only thing I have, or have ever had. Something is flagging their system and we just don't know what, nor do we have a way to find out.

Could it be the windows 10 xbox menu that shows into the game instrusively, we must have something in common? Since I'm not guilty I believe we all are not but we must have a common software, for Me I only have razer comm

I'm currently in the process of recording all the installed programs and features and then I'm going to send that list to Riot in a ticket. I'm hoping, but not holding my breath, that one they will actually read it two the will investigate and three find that one of these programs is the cause of the false positive. I doubt this will actually happen, but I don't know what else to do. I will not share this list here. Unfortunately, I am sure that there are people here who actually cheated and might just take my list and my idea and send it to riot, thus devaluing it

I do have: Curse and Discord. I rarely use discord. I have a corsair mouse and keyboard. I don't think these are the issues, but they could be I guess.

I can tell you that what I have is what the majority of players probably have... Steam, Origin, Uplay, Curse, Discord, Microsoft Office, Avira Antivirus, Nvidia Drivers and console, Corsair utility engine (keyboard and mouse), Canon Printer software and apps. Some of the more uncommon things I have are Hyper-V, Visual Studios, Open-VPN.

I have MSI dragon, nVidia GeForce Experience and previously Overwolf.

After a reply to my ticket, I saw that I had been banned for scripting... L O L - Never scripted, wouldn't risk my account of 4 years and all the money I've spent on my account, it's just foolishness.

Most people use VOIP programs (curse, discord, ts, etc) and some people who have mentioned other programs like nvidia geforce, which I'm sure many people use because many people have geforce video cards, including myself.

People have been stating they get banned with overwolf as well but many have also gotten banned when they don't claim to have run overwolf.

So I question whether or not these claims of innocence are actually true. If people were banned for using VOIP's, why isn't the super majority of the league community banned? It seems like there is information that is being withheld from these permabanned folks about all of the programs that are actually being run on their compys.

I feel like trying to narrow down the programs you have to see why you were banned would only help the actual scripters on here. Just share your computer information to the support tickets guys

Overwolf is an app that is like na.op.gg or its like lolnexus it gives you peoples ranks, their win rate and other basic information on the game nothing in detail and thats all it will be used for. Overwolf is free you add your summoner name and it looks up a live game and gives you peoples ranks and their win rates i know i said that already just restating it. na.op.gg shows way more and people dont get banned for using that or people use lolnexus.com and it gives the exact same information that overwolf does. lolking.net shows more actually that overwolf overwolf just lets you look while in load in screen and close out of it. I got banned and the only thing i could think of is overwolf but i dont use it and a number of people i talk to use it and cloud 9 actually sponsors it and advertises for it so why should we be punished for using that when it is advertised in multiple streams and other events so it makes everyone think its not scripting. i was silver 1 promo to gold this season last season i was gold 3 or 4 but in the middle of my promos i got banned and the only thing i changed is overwolf i used it before no punishments for it and then out of the blue at 7am i got an email from riot saying i was banned. I emailed riot and they wont tell me what i used but they wont revoke or end it early. I dont know how to prove it to them that i am not cheating i dont know what to do and it annoys me because i actually for once found a game i have liked since the middle to end of season 3 of this game i played was bronze the first season i played ranked. then silver the rest of the seasons until season 6 i got gold so i dont think i am scripting i just learned from my mistakes and tried my best to improve so i dont keep making same mistakes and i also noticed a couple days before i was banned i was playing against a riot employee name Riot Sunghoster and at first i was like thats actually cool a riot employee and we played against him my team won because we grouped and did what we needed. I thought just for the heck of it i should send him a friend request instantly declined. But i played after that game and then couple days later i was banned was it because i was using overwolf or because i was playing mater yi. I would like to do something to help al the players in this game wrongfully banned but this community just talks crap about you saying you must of cheated if riot banned you but multiple people get banned and no one knows exactly why so i dont know why everyone doesnt know why they are getting banned but all know it has something with overwolf apparently but i use it to check win rates on the people and know whether or not to play by their lane or not since i play more against people with higher win rates for say if they have a 58% compared to a 34% i will camp the person with a 58% because he just wins more times but thats just me overwolf seems to be the only connection every player including me have had to be banned if so cant you make an annoucment to everyone instead of banning communicate to us that that app is bad if you told me i would of unistalled it because i love this game i play it every moment i get because it is a competitive game that makes you want to improve in this game so i hope im not the only one who wants to continue this game please let me know if anything changes with their problem i would like to know what to expect in future issues because i feel im not alone in this matter everyone seems to be confused to riot please explain a little more clearly why we all are banned and what we can do to fix this because i love this game.......
