I feel like ranked games are noticeably more toxic on weekends than weekdays but I lack empirical data to back that up. I wonder if rioters know of any periods of time where there is a noticeable rise in reports and/or punishable offenses per capita.
Play from 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. you risk playing with all the kiddies who are home from school. Nothing worse than playing with a 12 yr old yasuo main. But all the other hours they are in school so your are playing with slightly more mature players.
I've had shit luck on weekends when it comes to ranked solo games... Made a vow to not play ranked solo on weekends anymore bc I go on huge losing streaks during that time. Makes sense since kids are off of school and people who work full time and don't have time to play are playing during the weekend.
yes i normally refuse to play ranked on the weekends,whatever the reason is for being worse who knows..im assuming its cause people start playing that normally dont play that much so mm gets all messed up.
It makes sense for more reports to come in on weekends and extended breaks because theoritically more people are able to play.
Probably a combination of more casuals (people who have weekday jobs) and kids out of school.
Weekends are rough. In my experience there is a definite drop in maturity over the weekend and on friday nights.
I usually find the best time for me to play ranked and get decent teammates is super late at night / early morning. I generally don't play ranked between 4-10 pm either.
Personally, I see the quality of my matches reduce during the weekends, with more people not knowing what to do. Probably just more casuals playing.
Not suprising that would lead to more toxicity.
