Permanent Chat Ban instead

NOTE: MY ACCOUNT HAS NEVER RECEIVED ANY PUNISHMENTS. THIS IS JUST A THREAD ABOUT THE UNFAIRNESS OF THEIR PUNISHMENT SYSTEM. So to you people downvoting because you think this is just a thread by someone who's mad about a punishment they received, it is NOT. Don't waste your time harassing me and ruining a perfectly valid desire just because you didn't read and made false assumptions.

Instead of a permanent ban to playing the game (and thus getting everything you've bought from them stolen from you), continuous abuse of the chat system should result in a permanent removal of your ability to chat.

Yes, people should still be permanently banned from play, but only if their play pattern (intentional feeding) is the issue

You don't put someone in prison for life over indecent exposure. Only if they've proven to be a danger.

**Edit: This would have to be enacted with a lot less warning than the gameplay permaban. The player will receive ONLY the 14-day chat restriction as their warning, then the permanent chat ban would be the very next step in the punishment process. **

Riot's terms and services likely states something to the effect of being able to terminate your account and thus you forfeit any content that you've purchased. Since you agreed to it when you created an account as there's no other way to create an account than to agree to the terms of service, your content isn't being stolen from you.

Secondly if you're incapable of controlling your anger to the point you actually receive a permanent ban, you need to re-prioritize your goals in life, and maybe seek out some anger management classes.

It takes a very long, established pattern of horrific behavior to actually receive a permanent ban from the game. Not just getting a little mad at players doing badly, but literally sitting there and being bad enough to get frequently reported, and they have to accomplish this typically through a chat restriction. This means they're utilizing their limited messages not to try and salvage the game when there's a mistake, but instead to express their desires for their teammates to commit suicide, racial slurs, and other overwhelmingly horrific violations of the summoner's code. If you're at that point, you're not ever going to become a "nontoxic" player and frankly it's better for your own health to not be playing the game in the first place, because eventually you're going to have a rage induced heart attack. So again, might want to look into anger management classes.

I got an instant Feedback permanent Ban with no evaluation by Riot. It's a broken system period.

I dont think a permanant chat ban is a harsh enough punishment. If someone gets to the point where permaban is a posability that means they have been repeatedly warned and have refused to correct the behavior.

Besides once someone does get a perm chat ban they will likely just start doing stuff on purpose after they cant talk. (intent feeding / troll)

I'm not sure why this isn't a thing anyway lol. It just seems to make sense.
