Got hit with a 14-day suspension with no prior marks against me in 4 years of playing.
EDIT: FOREWORD: This was a vent post, I've cooled off since. I'm leaving it unedited for posterity's sake.
Of course, it's because I dropped one of the automated detection phrases. Got flamed particularly hard by a player in my game, who eventually got the rest of the team to gang up on me before he turned on them too. I hit him with a "kys" and then muted him. Reported him in post-game, I (clearly) got reported as well. I get hit with the second-highest punishment the system has to offer, he's in another game right now. This has convinced me not to be less toxic (because I'm not a toxic player and never have been, literally first offense) but rather I have realized I should be more openly toxic with my team, as toxicity is encouraged and rallied behind by other players. I just have to make sure to dodge any auto-detected flags and I'm golden.
I realize that I broke the ToS and flagged phrases instantly shoot you up the punishment ladder regardless of prior status. I realize that according to the ToS my punishment is both appropriate and deserved. I do not, however, feel bad nor do I plan on "reforming," because I don't need to. Rather, since I've already hit the 'loss of all rewards' marker in the first week of the Season, I feel free to be as toxic as I'd like. I'll just make sure to be toxic the way other players are toxic. I'll stick to "god you're shit," "you lost us the game," and "this is why you'll be bronze forever" like everyone else instead of two or three autoban phrases.
TL;DR: generic Player Behavior complaint post, feel my punishment isn't really justified, don't feel sorry for what I did, literally only making this post to vent because it makes me feel better even if it makes the situation worse, etc.
