"Ezi" - Should it be bannable?
As a reformed toxic player, I believe that Riot do not take verbal abuse in ALL forms serious and have just programmed their automated reporting system to search chat for "keywords" such as swearing, popular flaming phrases etc. I believe that Riot should add "Ezi" or "Easy" to the automated system so that the system can recognise it as player toxicity if that player is reported.
Can I just say that I do not seem why I was forced to improve my behavior when the majority of Europe and other servers are still getting away with basic verbal abuse such as "Ezi". It shows arrogance which promotes a toxic environment and does nothing to improve anyone's attitude on the game.
It is a bit of a joke to find that Riot will allow this type of trolling however "baiting" is becoming extremely popular in certain games, where players are harassed into losing their temper so a premade can report them to be sadistic. I think Riot are completely ignoring how their system has been exploited by trolls to ban innocent players who are just frustrated with having trolls/AFKers/Feeders in their game that they can do NOTHING about.
I recently played a game with a
jungle, who asked for a "smiteless pull" at level one. When I asked him why, he said "Cuz I can invade". I kinda knew that this would go horribly badly and advised against it politely however I was curtly ignored with "shut up noob, it'll be ok". He then proceeded to feed first blood to
within 5 minutes of the game starting.
To be honest, being aware of my feelings, it is really frustrating when this happens. Yes, innocent mistakes can be made but with the current meta being so critical on early game supremacy at the moment, then every kill he gives away at the start is more gold for the enemy team and for what? For a chance to look flashy and impress everyone?
This kind of "showmanship" in the game just annoys me. He is a video game character, you aren't doing the Gold Medal in Olympic Gymnastics, there is absolutely no need to play like this. Then he just attempts to shrug it off and goes AFK.
I am amazed that more people are not getting banned then ones already. I already know the system has attacked innocent players who are just tired of this crap? Why do we have to be so accepting of this kind of behavior and we can report them and just HOPE Riot bans them. Otherwise, if we say ANYTHING about it, its "REPORTED" and we end up getting attacked for trying to be sensible.
How can anybody not find losing is such a stupid and obvious way, frustrating? Does Riot expect everyone to have Vulcan levels of emotional control because that is NEVER going to happen.
This game, in my opinion, was better before Riot went all "Nanny State" because at least you could verbally defend yourself. Now they just expect you to get called every name under the sun and just be alright with that.
