So I just played a Dominion game with a lower level friend and I'm rather convinced that most of the players there are bots. I'm sort of surprised that Riot hasn't looked into accounts that never get a single rune or mastery at level 20+ and simply walk in a counter-clockwise pattern to capture all game and haven't figured out pings or chat at that level, because I didn't think they were on board with the bot to 30 and sell account strategy.

Apparently this is harder than it seems. Riot doesn't ban people for being bad at the game, so how do you know if they aren't just bad at the game? I've known players when I first started that didn't have a single mastery page or rune page until they started playing ranked. While I think it may be obvious who is and is not a bot, it would be hard to write a program to detect this.

They are not on board with selling accounts. Funny story, last night I was watching Trick2G's stream and he was doing sub wars. This was bronze sub wars, and he noticed that something didn't seem right. He talked to the player, apperently this guy's main is in Plat and he just bought a bronze account to curb stomp noobs. He ended up getting reported to Riot. Not sure if action was taken or not, but that's pretty funny IMO.
These bots are a plague in intro bot matches too. I've gotten as many as 3 on my team that all buy the same things, all ping "Enemy Mia" seemingly random directly on the nexus and all run up mid and die over and over again. At least the other player usually has a good sense of humor about it, but ugh. I go to intros to play with new players not bots :/
Yeah, I'll admit Riot has it hard, but I was just sort of taken back at the scope of the problem. I do know there are people who only want to have fun with AI matches and such, but wow, these were just sad. They almost literally just walked counter-clockwise and captured...
