so for the first time ever, i actaully saw a scripter in my game

i have already reported said person in-game and via a ticket to top it off, but i am utterly shocked.

first because this isn't even remotely high elo... and 2nd.. and most importantly... it was UNRANKED.

the player in question whom i will not name. nor will i link the game or say which champ they were playing, but they were on the other team.

was stutterstepping in a manner that would make the pros look like bronze players, all the time weaving in auto attacks

he would dodge skillshot before they were even cast.

we had voice comms in game and one of my allies actually threw a spell in front of her not as far as said champion was so it wouldn't reach him just to check, and they still made a move the dodge it during cast animation. even though the skillshot was never goign to hit them

we still beat them, but after over 5 years of playing it saddens me to see scripters in my actual games.

i mean sure i have seen TONS of level up bots a few months back on a smurf in bot games, doing cheese lvl up crap.

but to see an actual scripter, in an actual game. and an UNRANKED game at that..

first off.. they're an asshole for cheating... they STILL didn't win.. and for what? to try to win an UNRANKED game?

why on earth would u do that..

There are going to be more scripters in low rank than high because they are looking for an easy way to win instead of gaining skill over time. Naturally you are still going to lose in this scenario because scripting won't help with your macro play. You can never get hit by anything and lose your turret.

They were probably testing the software to see if it worked or were trying to get used to using it, or maybe they just don't like ranked and take normals seriously.

Luckily Riot is pretty good at detecting cheating programs and banning them, so that person will be gone before too long.

Scripters don't last long here. Especially with the new cheat program update implemented. So I wouldn't worry about it. But you did the right thing by reporting the person. At least they'll be investigated.

As for why? Well.. humans. They want to win in any way possible. They either don't didn't read the Terms of Use, or they ignored it.

You must not play Twisted Treeline. Nearly every Treeline match has at least 2 bots. Hopefully their "updated" system will work a bit better and we can enjoy the Treeline again. Riot's bots are responsive to their enemy's movements, the worst of players are responsive to enemy/ally movements. The player bots on Treeline are oblivious to everything and wouldn't even notice if you set them on fire.
