"I'm gonna kill you." "I'll gut you." "You're a cockroach." "What was that? Run straight into the tower?" "Oh, before I forget, what, uh... rank are you, exactly?"

These are all completely acceptable things to say in chat, and there is no argument you could present to the contrary. They're just champion quotes.

Edit: You'd have to be awfully socially inept, I'd even say a downright idiot, to think saying these to people in League while playing the game is anything at all like saying them to people who don't play League in person.

You're trying way too hard to make excuses for threatening people in-game.

You're over-generalizing, claiming that the context of quoting a character extends to all conversations between players in league. This is such a blunt and flat claim it's pretty much doomed to failure.

Context matters, and you have to respect the nuance of it. Just because it is okay in some contexts, does not make it okay in other contexts.

In certain context it is obviously fine, such as when you are actually quoting what Kled just said in-game, like:

"/ALL Kled just said, 'I will murder your family!' this character is savage AF!"

But in other context, if you are raging at a teammate and you say, "I will murder your family," nobody is going to mistake it for quoting a champion.

In the end everything boils down to the same thing once again. Don't rage at your team like an idiot.

So you're encouraging people to try to find a loophole to enable them to be toxic. The argument i present to you is context. Context can make these "quotes" severely toxic, making them completely unacceptable to say.
