Banning Friendly Champs

Honestly, there have been far too many games where someone on MY team banned MY champ. There needs to be a way to stop this, Riot. It's far more toxic than some kid calling my mom fat.

don't hover your pick until bans are done.

If it is FOTM, then you can ask them to first pick it for you.

The thing is, you shouldn't have to do that. You shouldn't have to think about ways to outsmart your own teammates because they're out to ruin your game.

If you hover on FOTM and you're not the first pick... I'll ban your champ. Better take him out of the game than take a chance of having him on the other team.

I WAS the first pick. That's the thing. What you're not understanding is that trolls do exist, and what you're currently defending is the easiest way to bug people.

use another champion similar to it or whine about it all match and get yourself ban eventually.

you also need to understand some people ban champs without paying attention, out of habbit.

They'll either be quick to admit they were either at fault, or they'll alt-tab back to whatever they were doing. and ignore you.

if that is the case, you can try to explain to them why you are planning to use a certain champion and why it works.

It's a team game, unless you get the buy in from all your team mates, they'll rage in game and perform badly.

Normally only one person (or two at max, but rarely two) is against that pick. So you just need to convince them.

If they keep complaining, just say "trust" and then be quiet. Most people will let it slide at that point.

Either its a dumb idea or a bad post; how would they know if its Your Champion and if u r picking as common bans like in the old days: kassadin/ zed its either mid or feed and if im ur team, i would ve banned as well for safetly

sometimes when u go way off the meta, like a Braum mid, they think u are a troll (i personally think braum mid is trolling) and then ban that champion.

They banned Kog Maw bot and Lulu support because they felt like it, and they laughed because they know no one is ever going to take it seriously.

i just pre lock my champs when there is a slight chance of them being banned or chosen. do not call out ur champ.
