KVbqbFsC8e4 votesThey don't get punished as long as they aren't being what Riot considers to be toxic in chat. Its one of the flaws of the automated system they use, it hands out automated bans for scanned chat logs, but it can't tell when someone is trolling.

TrulyBland2 votesThis is simply not true. They absolutely do have a system to detect feeding/trolling, which doesn't only scan chat logs. It's just that it's a tricky thing to detect, most of the time, and the system is still considerably new.
