Ranked season 8: The "Every Player for themselves" season
Yeah SCREW playing as a TEAM on a TEAM based game. its better to tell each role to only care about how good they look solo. Why bother playing as a single unit. Its easier just for Top lane to look out for themselves, Mid lane to look out for themselves, Adc? On your own, sorry. Jungle? Nah why help any lane, its not your job (But you can sure as hell sneak in and steal some farm for yourself after you leave the laner to die). Support? Not your job to heal your adcs anymore.
This is all I see, this is what I see being pushed and promoted. Why the hell even THINK of playing as a team, Everyone just Focus on YOURSELF. DOnt give a flying turd about ANYONE but yourself, the rest of your team is expendable. Its all about how glorious and wonderful YOU look. Gonna lose when the team stabs each other in the back because it might impact how a player Appears? (JG: I could have ganked bot lane and saved adc, but then I -might- have died and Ruined my chances for an S)
Yeah why even delude yourself and call this a team game anymore. This is a god damn joke. This season is set to become the "all about me" season. Why play as a team, just focus on how good you are solo. Ignore the fact that all 5 players are on the SAME match, playingt he SAME map. The actions of ONE player has a ripple effect on the OTHER 4 PLAYERS. If Bot lane struggles and the other lanes just ignore it? Guess what, That enemy getting fed off your flailing bot lane is coming for YOU next. Complete with alot of gold, alot of power, alot of armor. But who cares right? Just blame bot lane, its not YOUR problem (Yet)
I see this over and over again. You drudge up single player stats, single player win rates on a TEAM ORIENTED GAME. This is not YOLO SOLO CALL OF DUTY where 4 players can lose but 1 player magically wins. If your team suffers, YOU SUFFER. If your team loses...YOU LOSE. All I see this season are "PSA" Threads that tell players to Cut off thier teammates, cut off losing lanes. Avoid them like the GOD DAMN PLAGUE.
STOP calling this a team game. BURN the summoners Code. Make up your god damn mInd. If you are going to tell people "Only focus On YOURSELF, Dont bother helping your team" Then you DONT get to toss around a players win-rates, loss rates, stats, Deaths, etc. When EVERY PLAYER GOES SOLO and ends up feeding the enemy team. Riot Puts 10 players with cattle-prods In a cage against one another, inside a Confined area. Everyone chooses to go after thier solo kills. The smarter team focuses one player at a time and keeps the biggest threats on the ground. It doesnt matter How much you try and avoid it. It is still a confined area. And If One player loses, Everyone loses.
Apparently I am the only one who sees these greedy, narcissistic little "PSA"s telling people to play solo for what they are. Reinforcing the attitude that League is No longer a TEAM BASED GAME. Its every player for themselves. And as per the suggestion, I will treat it as such
Dont talk to me about my builds, dont talk to me about not buying sightstone (its gone next patch anyways) Dont talk to me about covering for my adc (Not my job, right?) I am gonna play for me. Build for ME. Care about no one but ME. Because thats what these players want. Season 8: The season Teamwork went out the window.
