Good god you check your damned privilege. Who the hell do you lot think you are to threaten to afk if we don't drop to our knees and kiss your ass all because your ego was slightly damaged? Forget ranked integrity, if I saw someone do this in a BOTS GAME I would be furious. If your pride is sooooooo easily damaged that you need 4 other people to make you their top priority, then I'm sorry, but go ahead and AFK, I'd rather that than have to watch 3 people suffer because you have no semblance of self-control. It is arrogant, selfish, and pathetic.

Absolutely no one should EVER under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, feel obligated to kiss your ass because you are threatening them. It is absolutely sick, and I have seen it 2 times too many in the span of 6 games. I admit I've been/get toxic when I get tilted and/or emotional (case and point, this post), but I have NEVER, in my 3 years of playing this game, EVER ONCE, THREATENED TO AFK, FEED, OR OTHERWISE INTENTIONALLY RUIN A GAME.

So you check your damned privilege.

Can't tell you how many times I've had my ADC threaten to AFK after someone "steals his kills." As an ADC main I fucking hate it because it gives us such a bad rep. When I get these children in my games I just laugh at them and tell them to enjoy leveling up a new account. It's even more hilarious when he's freaking horrible at csing because he whines about being underfarmed. If you knew how to CS properly you'd have more gold than if you had gotten all the freaking kills.

Never negotiate with trolls. Just enrage them so they actually do afk and you can watch them get punished. I honestly don't mind if I lose a game a little faster and see a troll's day get ruined. Letting them get their way just passes on the problem to the next people unlucky enough to find themselves in a game with them.

Was playing with two friends of mine the other day, one of whom was a new old player who hadn't touched the game in years and was effectively a newbie. They were ADCing in a bot game. A bot game. And our support player started getting snappy with them for not being good. Later threatened to AFK. Later actually did AFK. Only to come back after finding out everyone else in the game (the three of us and the random mid-laner) were all having a good time at their expense and discussing reporting them for AFKing after the game.

I'm not sure what they hoped to accomplish with their threat to go AFK for having to support a newbie who was making bad decisions (that's 95% of what supports do anyway, amirite?) but it clearly didn't work out for them.

Lol, I thought thread this was going to be some sort of a list. All the reasons people have threatened to "afk". Things like.....

-If you don't gank my lane.... -If you don't give me blue buff.... -If you don't group..... -If you don't ward...... -If you don't buy void staff..... -If you die one more time.....

I agree though. No one should ever threaten afk.

this happens in pretty much EVERY ranked game. I have lost count when someone on my team had a hissyfit and decided to afk because of some stupid reason. Support took a minion, Someone else got a kill and they didnt. Someone has more kills than them...the team didnt back off so they could sweep in for penta...etc. These people only care about thier ego, and if you dont cater to it, they will call you a troll and find something to report you for. All because you didnt bend over backwards for them.
