Yeah stop kidding yourself that this is a team game anymore. There is NO team play in this game. It is every player for themselves. There is no objective focus, there is No working together. Only spoiled little children with overinflated egos who think they are "too good for this team" They spend every game talking about how "trash" their team is because they go 0/1 or throw a mother of all shitfit because someone ELSE got a kill they called "dibs" on. Someone doesnt cater to the child's demands, build what they want, go where they want, etc. Welll obviously that person is "Trolling" or "Inting" and needs to be "9x report"

When You have people who dont want to hear any outside strategy. But they feel like because its a "Team game", that obviously means THEY get to decide who YOU play. They dont need to ask you, they dont need to talk to you. They just get to TELL YOU who to play. And if you dare say No to these spoiled children, they intentionally ban your pick, and demand you play a "proper" or "Real" >insert role here<

I have been on this game sinse season 3. Not that it matters to anyone. Because they can just say "oh you had x bad game so anything you say is dismissed" and yet people completely IGNORE THE TEAM and say "well ok you had a game where you went 1/13. So you Must suck! and anything you say is just you being salty because ur bad" And they will completely dismiss any notion of the fact it may have been a 5v4 with an rogue mid lane who ignored teammates and a jungle who never left the jungle. People only bring up the "team" aspect of the game when its convenient for thier arguement. If you dont do what they say, you arent playing "As a team" when they have no intention of actually discussing, just dictating (I say jump, you say how far off the cliff?) But when they want to dismiss you, suddenly the team aspect disappears and your team played no part in your score despite the fact it is 5 players on a SHARED MAP in 3 lanes.

This is not a team game, and as far as I am concerned Riot has stopped treating it as such. I mean they made it easier for people to go "yolo solo" and so they can screw over their teams for that shutdown gold. SO more teammates will INTENTIONALLY SIT BACK and wait for a teammate ahead of them to die, and THEN they will jump in for easy last hits after the teammate has died so they can claim that shutdown money and keep the kill all for themselves.

So kindly do not give me this "Its a team game" bullshit. I am done trying to delude myself into it. Call it what you will, I think of it as the "death song" of what used to be a team player. Take that "I work for the team" aspect and bury it alive screaming and blubbering. All so spoiled little children with overinflated egos can brag about how "Im too good, I cant carry this trash team" See how good they are when I sit back and let them die so I can take the cs and kills for myself. If we lose? Oh well, at least I can still brag about how I have the "most kills" on the team, right? Because thats all that matters. No one needs to work together anymore, as Long as you have the most artificially inflated Kda, No one needs a silly thing like winning the matches. ESPECIALLY IN RANKED! I hear it all the time. I can suggest pushing towers while the team runs back and forth across the map, waiting for a kill to show up on the mini so they can go chase it. Towers will remain untouched and ignored, meanwile we have 3 towers down, 3 more at half. But when I suggest pushing objectives I get responded with "Look at ur kills, stfu" or "Kills help the team win" Yeah they really help you win, thats why the enemy team focusses towers and drops our nexus uncontested while you are off running after a solo kill, trying to 4v1 a lone top-laner while the enemy takes our base. And at the end of the match, I get to hear "report X for inting" the one who didnt fall for the kill and tried to defend the base solo just to get accused of intentionally feeding. (and lets not kid ourselves, If you defend the base, they call to report you for "Intentionally feeding" But if you stay out of the fight and save your own life, suddenly you are "Report for afk/throwing")

Any teamplay aspect League had is gone. It now caters to arrogant toddlers who think themselves too good for any team. The high point of thier day is going on about just how great they are for thier kills and how they cant carry thier "trash team" every game. Well I am gonna start putting these toddlers in thier place. See how they like it when I hang them out to dry so I can take the kills for myself. Because Its not like this is a team game or anything. Oh I think I can still hear that "Team" side of my brain screaming. League of legends is where teamwork goes to die!

Edit: Keep those downvotes coming, I know you need to get painful truths out of the way. It disrupts your precious echo chamber of telling each other how "challenger tier" you are and how you dont need no team.

Well I'm sure it doesn't feel like a team game in bronze. I'm not saying this to insult you, it's just a fact that in low elo you can't expect your team to make macro plays like split pushing, sieging, etc.

So in low elo, your best chance is to solocarry, which is way easier than talk strategy with your team.

actually, i would call lol the perfect opposite of a team game, in a certain way How many times do you see ppl fighting with THEIR OWN TEAMMATES compare that number with how many time do you see ppl flaming players of the opposite team

how many times do you see the word NOOB from one of your teammate? if the game is a losing one, there is ALWAYS someone in your team saying noob team. noob this. noob that.

is it a team game when your teammates flames each other 9 games out of 10 ?

Maybe in Bronze lol. No but seriously this sounds like you're talking about bronze level play. And not only that, but it seems like you're taking your personal experiences as unbridled truth.

I won't lie I have had people who think they're "too good to be on x team" But at that time I was also bronze 3, that was 1 year ago, and that guy was banned. As for people "telling" me who/what to play? That one has literally never happened to me. I've had one guy suggest I play one champion, but that's about as far as it's ever gone. But that's just my personal experience. If anything people have been complaining that League is too team oriented today and that solo carrying games is too difficult. Maybe you should rank up before complaining about the game. You'll find that high silver and up are way more team oriented than low silver and bronze.

Judging the whole game based on the experience of a bronze V player is a bit idiotic. Ultimately you are right -- at your level players do not know how to play in teams, never coordinate nor help each other. That's why you'll see people with stronger mechanical skills easily carry and destroy games.

That works less and less as you climb up the ladder where you actually have to rely on your team.
