If the other team has an actual Intentional Feeder......don't kill the feeder.

Just let them walk under tower to execute themselves, or just avoid them.

This is what I do when there is someone who is actually intentionally feeding on the enemy team (running it down mid, saying in all chat "come kill me", etc.). The enemy team is already going to be down one man pretty much all game, and we all know the feeling of having a feeder on your team.

So, show the enemy team a little courtesy by basically saying "I know this guy sucks, and I'm sorry he's doing this. Thus, I'll make him powerless."

Granted, the enemy team will still be playing a 4v5, which is next to impossible to win these days, but, at least you make it a bit easier by not making it actually impossible (and yes, I know, people have won with feeders on their team).

Of course, if the feeder decides to actually play the game, and starts to try to kill you (even if it does involve running into your entire team alone), then defend yourself, and start killing them. You don't want to end up feeding the feeder, than having them carry the game for the enemy team in the end. Cause that just makes everyone's day worse, even for the enemy team.

Just figured I'd throw that out there.

If someone on the enemy team is assisting their enemy team, assisting your enemy team is not the proper response.

And pass up on the freelo? Hell no.

Deep Terror Nami1/14/2019, 7:20:39 AM8 votes

I disagree. They won't be worth much for one, and also you want the system to detect their inting as easily as possible so they get banned for it. Just take the win, report them, and move on.

PrismalDawn1/14/2019, 6:44:45 AM6 votes

Nah. Might as well end the game faster than later

Im Genie1/14/2019, 6:20:33 AM4 votes

they intending feeding early game and after that they got some kill from ks. DONE! Riot didn't punish them because they contributed for the game, that is stupid. I checked history the guy who attended on my ranked game 2 times on a round, and keep doing that until now. Sad for Riot punish system

I disagree.

  1. You're assisting the enemy team.

  2. You're passing up LP (assuming it is Ranked).

  3. You're only drawing out the game instead of ending it quickly.

And no, it doesn't really "give the feeder power" if you report him.

I will kill them whenever they are in range, I'm not going to hunt them down actively most of the time.

Just enjoy the free gold to finish the game as quickly as possible and stop the suffering.

Ok sure but why1/14/2019, 6:22:27 AM3 votes

Nah.

Besides, saying "I know this guy sucks, and I'm sorry he's doing this. Thus, I'll make him powerless," will fucking CHAT RESTRICT you on the spot. After all, acknowledging the feeder is a reportable offense.

This requires players to make correct in-game interpretations of int feeding, which is completely unreasonable given that Riot themselves is notoriously inconsistent in detecting it even with perfect information.

AeroWaffle1/14/2019, 4:38:22 PM3 votes

I disagree as well, but for different reasons than anyone else has brought up.

The goal of an intentional feeder is to make sure their own team is unequivocally going to lose. Just dying is not likely to appease them. If they see the enemy team avoiding combat with them they will likely try to force the enemy team to kill them by attacking them.

While the result is still the same from the perspective of anyone in the game (there's still an intentional feeder trying to gimp their own team), this is a worse situation since the additional actions taken by the intentional feeder muddy the waters when it comes to detecting and holding them responsible for their actions.

Just let them walk under tower to execute themselves, or just avoid them.

even the most brain dead inter with the most brain dead champion is smart enough to let the enemy kill them, not the tower. towers cannot get fed. the tower might assist but if there is no champion present they aren't just gonna stroll right up to the turret to hug it.

So, show the enemy team a little courtesy by basically saying "I know this guy sucks, and I'm sorry he's doing this. Thus, I'll make him powerless."

there is no effective way to make a feeder helpless. if no one comes to them to kill them they will actively go to you. and if you still avoid them they will attack first forcing you to kill them.

Inkling Commando1/14/2019, 6:34:46 AM2 votes

I don't care about anything on the enemy team. they have a feeder? i'll still kill him. they ask me to report them? I wont cause I have no reason to. (1: they are on the enemy team thus not causing me problems. 2: it is punishable to ask for reports).

TrulyBland1/14/2019, 7:13:17 AM2 votes

Normals I have no problem doing that, but I'm not going to jeopardize another player's rank over trying to make the other players feel better unless my entire team agrees. I cannot decide for the entire team to give up an advantage, even if it's an unfair one. To be completely honest, doing so would seem pretty self-righteous to me.

Edit: As stupid as it might sound, it also creates unnecessary noise for Riot's automated feeder detection. To make sure that player doesn't ruin even more games it actually makes sense to at least kill that player often enough to make it a clear case of intentionally feeding.

zPOOPz1/14/2019, 12:58:55 PM2 votes

No. If someone already insist on intentionally feeding, I'm not going to go out of my way to avoid killing him. I'm going to kill him within range and try to make the game ends faster. It's already unpleasant for the enemy team and unfun for me. Why worry about the nuisances of avoid killing an inter instead of use it to end the game and offer sweet release for everyone?

Lawful good

Vlada Cut1/14/2019, 7:14:30 AM1 votes

And then report then and get them banned. ^

comedybingbongs1/14/2019, 4:23:53 PM1 votes

In my experience, when someone on the enemy team literally starts running it down mid, it makes my team play waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse. Like so bad that the enemy team is ridiculing them in all chat for 35 minutes telling them to uninstall if they aren't good enough to win a 4 v 5.

So, to compensate for Riot's OP matchmaking, I always buy a mejais and make sure to be the one to get the kills. I also type in all caps to the AD champs not to take the kills and let the AP champions with a mejais get the kills.

Disulfiram1/14/2019, 7:23:48 AM1 votes

Did you know that an intentional feeder can actually carry your team? It only needs an enemy team full of unsportsmanlike people, who would and will waste time (and important cooldowns) chasing down the feeder instead of farming/taking objectives.
