When I was in bronze (season 4) I used to be super SUPER toxic, I bragged about how I was never punished, mid season 5 I was punished. After the punishment I changed my ways I became the reform success story and I personally believe me becoming un toxic is what climbed me to gold.

Except that he is back after 2 weeks (or just playing 10 games CRed), and even if he does get banned...tell me, over all the years, did toxicity in league go down due to bans?

In my experience, no, it didn't.

So, what's the point? Revenge? Cool, you got your internet-revenge. And in the next game, you get an "open mid" guy, a flamer and a trollpick again. How much worth is your "internet-revenge" then?

So, tell me, how "good" does it feel?

I actually don't see many toxic players, in fact, that was the first player I've seen who intentionally fed, openly admitted to it , and did it the whole game. I've never seen that type of behavior until then. I've been playing for 2 years.

And no, my next few games contained nobody toxic and the people on my teams were actually pretty awesome. We had a good time.

There will always be toxic jerks no matter where you go. The purpose of this forum is to explain to people and try to help them understand why certain behaviors are unacceptable here. If they choose to listen then they usually go on to never have another incident like that again. If they choose to not listen to reason then they usually go on to be constantly punished for their unwillingless to change their behavior for the better until they either shape up or ship out.

Most of this forum from what I see is people coming here to complain about being punished or banned, or coming to complain about toxicity when they themselves were also toxic.

It's also here for people to share problems and ideas on toxicity and how to fix it.

No matter what game you play you will have toxic people. I have seen far worse toxicity on other games and I don't see toxicity as often as you think. I didn't say it was getting better, but it doesn't seem to be getting worse.

That wasn't even the point of this post. Just made it for some light hearted humor, way to be a party pooper man

Don't like it, don't read it, simple as that.

Most of this forum from what I see is people coming here to complain about being punished or banned, or coming to complain about toxicity when they themselves were also toxic.

So, despite all the banning, punishing and general "I REPROT U FOR DIS!" attitude observable in chats and the boards itself, toxicity did in fact NOT miraculously vanish.

I never said it vanished? That wasn't even what this post was about??? What are you trying to grasp at. I said that most of the boards is people coming here to whine about being punished, which is not a false fact. I also said in my 2 years of playing, PERSONALLY, I have seen worse toxicity. I never said it went away, I never said it didn't exist, I said that I've seen worse.

You're creating an argument over something you brought here, like, why are you so eager to start an argument over a post that has nothing to do with what you;re arguing about. Not to mention downvoting everything that disagrees with you. Don't you have something better to do with your time?

That's not my problem. And this isn't "your" thread. I am as free to write on these boards as you are, and I don't have to take personal preferences into consideration when doing so.

You're creating an argument over something you brought here

If you reply to it regardeless, I can chose to reply to the reply ^^ I am here to point out how absurd the notion of "successful punishment" is, when it obviously doesn't combat toxicity effectively.

There are plenty of stories from individuals who were toxic and then reformed and realized how bad they were.

Some people just don't care, and you can't change that. Eventually they will be banned, and I've gotten plenty of messages saying the person I reported got banned.

Point is I don't really understand why you brought this to this post at all when it has very little to do with what I posted
