Permanently banned?

There should be more than 1 opportunity to report a toxic player. A person in my last message was extremely toxic. Used racial and homophobic slurs, griefing (giving enemy team our location and clearing the big monsters in allied jungle at start of game) and intentionally fed. I was so frustrated with that person I just wanted to start my next game as soon as possible, so after we surrendered I immediately left (not wanting to be flamed any further in post game screen) and lost my chance to report that player.

On the positive side, I did receive +3 honorable opponent and +2 good teammate grades.

Is there an alternate way to file a report on a player? At the very least they should still be able to pull the chat log and that alone should warrant some type of ban.

Your title suggests you were permanently banned, rather than alluding to the content of this post lol.

Anyway, I understand why you'd want to report them in some other way if you missed your chance in the post-game lobby, but for a player like that there's nothing to worry about; as long as one person reported them, the system will check. More reports do nothing additional, and it sounds like some other players in that match will have reported him anyway.

No, it simply says permanent ban and in no way implies I was referring to myself. You made that assumption because similar titles by other posters are made to complain about their own ban.

I chose that title because I think the suspects behavior is permaban worthy. And I wish there was a way I could file a report myself for self assurance a report was made.

Did I help you understand the system more to assuage your concerns about this player not receiving proper attention, though? You could submit a ticket, but they can't tell you what actions they take, if any. Using the post-game reporting is the most effective way to track this sort of behavior so it is punished appropriately, and by your description it can be safely assumed it was done.

Exactly. If you're on Pancake avenue shouting "Pancakes, get your pancakes!" along with the other pancake vendors, people are going to assume you're also selling pancakes, not wanting to discuss recipes XD

I mean, the conversation about the title is largely irrelevant (although fun), but when we see people banned we often see threads titled things like "Banned?" or "Unjustly Banned?"

So this is a title entirely in keeping with the sort we see from banned players. Again, not that it really matters. :)

asking random strangers "Pancakes?" when the whole street is asking for pancakes does certain give off the wrong assuption.

Eitherway, DTN has already mention you can submit a ticket (with your match history link), but if his actions were that bad, chances are someone else reported him and that is enough for the system to review for toxicity.
