[PSA] You don't need to mass downvote every topic on this sub-board.

It was understandable before we had this sub-board, because these posts generally wound up in Gameplay & Balance. The people in G&B are there to talk about the game; they don't want to see that stuff. I'd hope that you guys, who come here entirely for these kinds of posts, could be a little nicer to people that are just asking questions. At least respond seriously and give them a chance before downvoting. Not everyone here is just ranting about Riot and the community.

An anonymous downvote, especially on a thread where you open yourself to criticism like these, can really feel like kicking someone when he's down. If you disagree with something someone said, just writing a short sentence or two expressing that can be a lot less hurtful. We're not supposed to be jerks!

I'm 90% sure that I'm the only one that cares about this, but it'd just be nice to see people on this board be nice.

For me, I generally wait on placing a vote on the OP. If they come out of the gate already throwing around insults and blame, then yes, I will downvote it. If, after getting responses trying to help and they refuse to listen, I'll downvote. But yeah, I don't like seeing downvotes on posts with genuine questions.

I upvoted! I also voted in the poll despite the shameful, shameful wording of it (for shame!).

It is a little odd some of the things I see mass down voted, as though people come into the player behaviour board and are shocked to find people discussing bad behaviour of players.

Some of the toxic comments sure some people never change, but came over here because of a 2828 ban to figure out why, and still waiting for a Riot response and it gets 1 down vote :3.

So yeah not every post I generally up vote some of them been waiting all day for a Riot response so been up voting the good ones.

Yes, I agree with this.

But, I can understand VTJ is saying also, sometimes posts and threads get downvoted and I have no clue why... I also notice not just people who complain get downvoted...others who say anything that goes against toxic behavior gets the down votes.

Here's the thing, I don't like Toxic behavior but I'm willing to give a person a chance listen and even try to help If that person is being courteous about it. I don't mean they have to smell like roses and post a happy face, but be fair. When a complaint thread claims obvious lies and argue never accepting the slightest bit of advice...I down vote.

And if it is then why when a thread goes up just asking a question do people jump on and tell the poster to get out and no answer here, Not the place...comments such as these when the thread has not displayed any negative behavior yet.

I understand on some of the threads that go up...it undeniable that the intent is just to disrupt but I see many that I feel really don't understand what is going on. JMHO
