Face it: League is NO LONGER A TEAM GAME

Simply put, everyone thinks they are "Too good" for thier team everyone is convinced of they can 1v5 All I hear is "I dont need you, I can solo carry this trash team."

So immediately that creates division and resentment in the team, teamwork breaks down and eveyone starts hating one another. Everyone is too busy going thier seperate ways to work together, trying to get a team to group up or work together is like pulling teeth. and when you DO manage to get people to group, its only moments before you hear "Wtf u KSed me"

THis is Not a team game. So kindly stop calling it such. Its become a free for all and a way for spoiled brats to beat thier chests and say "look how good -I- am" Yeah I know, you have to only work on yourself, play your best. But there is a difference between that and basically telling your team how you are "too good for this trash team" and then turn around and wondering why you lost when you remind that now 0/8 jinx about how she missed her ult ONCE and needs to uninstall. You beat your team over the head with thier mistakes so YOU can feel better about YOURSELF. And then turn around and act suprised when these players perform WORSE. And as Icing on the shit cake, you turn around then go into all chat and ask the enemy team to report your adc for "inting" as a way to seperate yourself from "the other"

This is what this community, this game has become. So dont blame me when I give up on matches because my teammates are too busy stabbing each other in the back to focus the enemy. Too busy bragging about who is superior to who in skill and beating teammates over the head with thier mistakes. I am not arrogant enough to say I can 1v5, I can barely 1v2. But it makes no difference when teammates are too busy shoving players faces in the dirt for the purpose of "Im better than u, ur trash. Go die in a fire". Thats not me giving up, thats me being realistic. Team is too busy fighting each other over superiority to fight the enemy team.

Again, This is no longer a team game, its a free for all. So If I go dual adc in ranked. Its because I am doing what I can to protect MYSELF when the team starts to cannibalize itself, Maybe if I am lucky I can take a tower or two before we lose when teammates start spouting "Ur trash, uninstall" or "Report our feeder team" You wanna go solo and brag about how "OP" you are, how you are so good you dont need a team, how you can easily 1v5 carry the "Trash team" in your words...Uninstall and go play super mario with the rest of the single player douches who dont understand what a team is. You die, thats YOUR problem. Not wasting my support on A$$holes, especially the "Im OP Solo carry" variety. Maybe if I let a few of these egotistical brats die a few times, they will eat some humble pie and stop degrading teammates to puff up thier chest "hur hur I am so much better than you pathetic scrubs. I Ez carry this garbage fire team" <-------and you wonder why your teammates get stressed and lose interest in the match, or helping you.

It's a team game whether you choose to play as a team or not. The team that works together tends to win more games.

What good is calling it a team game if people are too wrapped up in THEMSELVES to actually win as a team. More and more I am seeing games where everything works well enough, maybe get a tower or two. Then someone gets ahead in a few kills and decides they dont NEED the team anymore. So the momentum is lost, the player goes off solo chasing kills and the rest of the team gests ambushed. And the solo player is too busy flaming the team for dying and telling them how garbage they are, and wondering "Omg how did we lose?!" I have had this happen in the past and when I told them it was because this is a team game and they were abandoning thier team for solo interests, I get told to "stfu u just sukk" as a response. These people get a few kills and decide that they are too good for thier team. If they come to help, they expect everyone to give ALL the kills to them.

Seen matches where players can be 14/1, over 30 kills, 30+ minutes into the match....And not a SINGLE tower is taken. Because everyone is too busy running around chasing solo kills and artificially inflating thier kda. So that at least when the match is lost, they can point to thier kda and say "Look at all MY Kills, So obviously my team is trash" They arent concerned with winning as a team, just how good THEY look. They have no interest in going for the win, just hoarding the most kills.

You're focusing on the faults of individuals playing the game rather than a fault in the game. For it to "not be a team game" you'd need 5 man premades to still not work like a team.

Nah the whole "Solo carry" attitude is intended to pit teammates against one another. Who is better than who, Who can get the most kills, who can be the most OP. People are more concerned with how good they are solo and they are happy to abandon the rest of the team for thier own self interest. All so they can say "I am OP, I am the solo carry, watch me carry this garbage team" That in turn makes the team hateful of one another.

Again, you're focusing on individuals, not the game. You can find an impromptu game of Basketball, Football, Soccer, or any other sport and get the same results you're describing, it doesn't make them any less team games.

Solo carry concept applies to situations where you actually ARE far better than everyone else in your team.

Your thread unfortunately a lot of truth in it. I am myself guilty of those things too when i climb through lower elos. I dont see 4 people as teammates but as tools i can use to win game.

I will agree there are times where "Solo carry" comes into play. One person rises above the rest to become the true solo carry. BUT people are so greedy and self interested on this game that they dont give a twitch's ass about the rest of their team. They will refuse to help teammates because its sort of a "If I Help YOU, that means less kills for ME" attitude. Or there will be players who refuse to help their team because "If I helped you I Might have died" Not "I would have died" but "I MIGHT HAVE" Thats like a football player saying "I dont want to help catch that field goal because "I MIGHT Miss it and fumble the ball"

Alot of these players are so happy to stab thier team in the back in order to make themselves look better in comparison. Like a marathon runner stabbing the other runners in the leg and then bragging about having "the best completion time"

Rather than let the solo carry come naturally, they will sabotage thier entire team to try and ENSURE they become the "solo carry".

Exactly, You can claim its a team game all you want, but its really just a bunch of greedy children fighting over who can score "most kills" Lost count how many matches I lost because the "Children" in my game were too busy running across the entire map chasing kills, would not even TRY and take down a tower. Meanwhile the enemy team are rotating and dropping our towers like nothing and these greedy snots are too busy trying to decide who to "Report" for the loss.

I play support because it is what I am most comfortable with. What I am used to. I tried other roles but people are so busy expecting perfection I cant even focus on it.

It may be Set UP like a team game, but it is a free for all, everyone only cares about "How many kills -I- got" They dont give a damn about winning anymore, as long as they can have a shiny 19/1 KDA. They will run over the map, abandon thier team for kills, pad thier kda like they pad thier bras, And yet If you mention going after objectives or towers, they will tell you "stfu u dont know how the game works" I got told by a mid laner who let the enemy have 2 free dragons (like just causally stopped and watched them take it) "Dragons dont win games" Then the enemy gets a 3rd dragon...then a baron, and then wins the game.

Again, It may LOOK like a team game, but as someone else said.

Looks like it on the outside, on the inside, players are happy to stab thier own team in the back for personal self interest, self greed. Thier own solo kills and to essentially just pat themselves on the back. Who cares if they sabotage the team, who cares if they cause the match to be lost. As long as that PLAYER looks good, as long as that player gets what THEY want.

op you want a coordinated team you should not be playing in solo que ..... if you think that solo que is going to give you the same experience and playing with people you have personally selected to have the same opinions on game play you have
