"I can Solo carry, just wait for me"

If you were gonna solo carry, you would have done so already

More and more games I am seeing people who wait till the match is over. When the team has less than HALF the towers. Or in my previous game we were getting stomped roughly 22 v 3 before the 15 minute mark. All 4 of us admitted we played hard but the match was lost. And we agreed we would be surrendering. But had a Varus adc who refused to surrender because "I got statik shiv, Im gonna change the game" He was already 0/4 at the time. We lost the game with Varus being 1/6 and still refusing to surrender.

I can understand being confident. But I am growing tired of these people who will look at a naked nexus on their team, Not a SINGLE downed tower on the enemy side. The score in Double-digit difference (like 35 v 2) and will STILL intentionally vote no because they think they will get ONE item that will COMPLETELY turn them into a god-player. These are the "God Teir" delusionals who feed into the toxicity of the match because They are so overconfident that while the rest of the team has admitted "we fought hard, they fought harder! we played good, they played better" and concede that the better team won. ONE person (sometimes 2) will hold everyone else hostage, make everyone else miserable because they are unwilling to look at the match and see that some matches ARE BEYOND RECOVERY.

Often even when the match is already lost, they will hold thier team hostage and make thier team "wait for me". Often something along the line of "Wait for me, Once I get X item, I can solo carry us to a win" and then they end up feeding the enemy 3 more kills while intentionally voting no. There has to be a limit to this "I'm too good" attitude. Sometimes, Matches are NOT WINNABLE. Just respectfully concede, surrender and move on. You make your team miserable because While they admit the match is lost, these players will whip and harrass them and tell them to act like its a world final match or they will be reported for "giving up" (When the match is 48 v 3 and the enemy is knocking on your nexus, these players will still report people for not hard pushing with them like its LCS Finals).

Yes Its fine to be optimistic, nothing wrong with that. But this "Im the best at anything" attitude has to stop. This idea that people can 1v5 solo a match that was already over and come out like rambo. There is a chance to win every match, But NOT EVERY MATCH IS WINNABLE. If its 38 v 5, You have no towers, they have all dragons (and elder) and supers knocking on your door. WHy do you insist on putting your team through hell just because YOU think YOU can "Solo carry" to a win, even when not a single enemy tower is Downed.

YOU ARE NOT AS OP AS YOU THINK YOU ARE. YOU ARE NOT AN OP 1V5 SOLO CARRY

You beat your head against a brick wall untill you see blood, and think it is the wall that is bleeding and ready to come down (because you are just that good)
