Flamed for playing Soraka (your "proper" support), back to darius supports.

You people need to make up your GOD DAMN MIND. I play off meta supports to try and find a challenge, I get flamed and degraded, called a troll and threatened with reports.

So I decide to go back to one of my old standby's that I am good with. I play I do well with her, and yeah, get kills my adc couldnt. We were winning lane.

suddenly I start getting flamed and degraded by our top lane talking about how "we lost the moment you chose that useless healbot" and later throwing in "soraka is outdated useless garbage" I thought i was doing well, But there is no pleasing you spoiled little toddlers. I took a chance to try and play a "proper" support as I am always being told to do, and I get flamed for it.

Well, guess its back to playing random, wacky, off-meta supports. If you lose lane, if you lose game. Its not my fault, nor is it any skin off my ass. I tried playing your way and I got thrown under the bus anyways.. When you flame people and call for reports because they arent playing the support YOU want them to play, you are better off uninstalling and go play a single player RPG where you have full control.

I assure you it will irritate them more than anything and make you feel better. You're having fun and trying your best so that's all that should matter.

S'okay. I was playing Ashe with Sona support bot one day and our Yasuo got fed and called me trash and told me to AFK, saying I only got kills because of him (4 of my kills were bot with Sona, even though I helped him get 2-3 kills with Ashe ult). You can't please people even if you pick things to set up or support your team.

You do what you want dude, I gave up on people after the Yasuo and I just do whatever.

To be honest, Soraka is potent in strong hands (better stated, with the right team and modestly good players in your team), but overall, she is pretty unimpressive--at least in lower ranks. This is not intended as a flame to you, but it seems you're bronze 5. Soraka is very hit-or-miss in low ELO, and very miss in the bronze range from my own personal experience.

I was a Raka main for a year, and I just didn't know how to use her nor how to play the meta of the game mechanics at the time. A lot of players in bronze are very much stuck there. They play OP builds they see in videos or champions they got destroyed by in a previous match. They make bad calls. They get TOO comfortable with a Raka (this is the biggest thing I noticed), thinking she will fix every single one of their mistakes and have a spammable heal at level 2--or 1 in many cases.

Anyway, that you got flamed was wrong, if that happened. That Raka will struggle in your tier is a given. And you will have far more success and enjoyment mastering a damage dealing champ in supp, like Zyra, my main. At that level, anyway.

Don't forget you have a mute button. Play Raka. Get better with her. Or if you're good but your team is misusing her (i.e. overestimating her ability to save their mistakes and also letting you get destroyed in the back as she is prone to see since she gets global aggro), play another champ until you are in a higher MMR that knows how to work with Raka better.

In other words, getting flamed for playing Soraka in a lower ELO game is pretty much the norm, usually related to the deficiencies of other players as per their expectations of what she can do, should do, vs. what she actually can do (which is very limited since healing is pretty weak anymore it seems).

Ive been seeing a shitload of sorakas lately and havent seen any of them get flamed. Are you in plat? I hear platinum is full of salty vaginas.
