So I died and left a game for a second, I had a 15 second death timer. So I thought I'd leave, take a breath and log back in and rejoin but it says:
League of legends is currently down for server maintenance etc. so I can't rejoin, will I get punished for this?
AJStarhiker1 votesWhether you are put on a LPQ depends on how often you leave/afk. You will, however, have the game marked as a Leave, it'll count as a loss, and (if ranked) have the resulting LP loss.
And why would you intentionally log out during a game? The system still notes the leave, even if you go back. And bumps you a bit closer to an LPQ.
Crispy0Snake1 votesIt's just the way I deal with tilt, I just leave and rejoin, never had an LPQ for it but I don't do it that often. Also I just play normals and only do it while dead so I never afk when alive :) I'll see what happens soon when I re-log I guess
zPOOPz3 votesThis is just my opinion, but I'm not so sure this is a good coping mechanism for being on tilt. First off, you are flirting with LeaveBuster. You flirt enough times, you might trigger a manual review and that's never a good thing. Secondly, I don't know about you or your teammates, but not many things tilt me more personally than seeing my teammate disconnect in the middle of the game without knowing if he's going to be back or not, especially if you do it multiple times during the same game (then I start to wonder if I can trust you in a team fight if you are having internet problems). You may not realize it, but seeing a teammate disconnect during game potentially affect the rest of the team too.
Telephone Booth1 votesOoof... that's not very safe lol. You log out mid game? I'm not criticising you personally, but that method of detilting is very risky. For your own good, I would stop doing that. Maybe back away from the screen or minimize? Something with a similar effect, but doesn't involve actually disconnecting from the game.
