I have to say that i'm actually amazed that Shen jungle isn't popular. He has very safe clears since he takes little damage and he has the best counterganks in the entire game. Once he hits six, he can ult into any gank and turn it around pretty easily. I have been able to wreck enemy teams doing this.
Not to mention that he can get 
and split push all day. Seriously, why isn't he played more?

Lugg3 votesHe can flash/taunt at level 2 for pretty much a guaranteed kill. So he can have early pressure as well.
Itankyou1 votesWith shens kit being low damage high sustain I would recommend taking ghost instead and forgetting about the level 2 gank as staying in the jungle for a quick clear will get your team more ahead than wasting flash for an early kill (its a risky move and cooldown on flash is 5 mins). If you miss you are not only out a flash you are also behind in the jungle.
Lugg1 votesIf you can't flash/taunt, you probably shouldn't be playing Shen. At the very least you will get a flash out of the enemy.
GundayMonday1 votesThis. Other champs do the same things, but slightly better. Post-6 he's amazing at counterganking since you have to press R, but a lot can happen pre-6.
Lugg1 votesYes, it's a little risky since the meta leans towards early junglers. However, if your team is smart, you shouldn't have a problem until you hit 6.
