Are you talking about going hybrid on some champs KogMaw Corki which is fine. The gross majority of ADCs are ATTACK DAMAGE though. So PSA it's ADC for anyone that has played for longer than 6 months.

There's still exceptions though, like Ziggs . So ADC can kind of be a misleading name?

3 out of 30 champs? I don't think ADC is misleading at all. The ONLY time you should play some sore of hybrid or AP champ in that role is when the rest of your team is EXTREMELY AD heavy.

Five champion difference. Truly a vast majority. [slayer-jinx-unamused] Furthermore, they aren't 'ADC's', they're marksmen, ranged champs with heavy auto reliance. And I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about thinks like taking Ahri down bot lane with a support, or Taliyah, or Lux, or Lulu, or etc and etc. They can all be played bot lane, since the point of the role is ranged damage dealer/ heavy pusher. And even beyond that you can play people like Bard, Kat, Syndra, any of them. They can be played bot. Period.

What AP does Ezreal Kennen Varus Ashe or MissFortune build when they are in the ADC role. Kennen builds ALL ad when he goes ADC and I am a teemo main and you don't play him ADC you play him TOP/MID/SUPP. You really have no idea what you are talking about. Azir ADC? Nope he would go mid unless somebody auto-locked and then changes roles. Look up stats before you come at a person that just knows more than you.

Teemo is a marksmen, or as you like to call it, an ADC, and can, quite frankly, be played anywhere, but his best roles are top and bot. Ezreal does way more damage hybrid than as AD, as well as granting him burst, Varus should always build some ap for his w, and Ashe Ult can 1 shot annie at the same on respawn. Also, Azir is a secondary marksmen, so please look up stats before you come at a person that actually knows more than you.

Why would you ever go ap Ashe or Mf when in "Bot" role?

Idk, they're still partially AP, and for Ashe, when fed, you can literally kill someone on respawn full AP ult.

There are three different classifications in League: Position (where you start out on the map), Role (what you do in game), and Class (what you are intended to be able to do).

Those two are part of Class (usually).

The point is that Bot is a position that is usually filled by the Role of a damage dealer. Lots of Classes (like Marksman, some Mages, some Juggernauts) can fill that Role.

I get that, that's my whole point here, just because they aren't strictly a marksmen, doesn't mean they can't fill the bot role.
