How is the elo for you first few placements chosen?

Im not that gokd, but I study the game and try hard.

I normally play normals because I do not typically have the time I feel I would need to dedicate to ranked. And, I do alright...typically over a 50% win ratio.

I placed last season in Bronze 1 and did not play enough to get out if it.

I had some extra time last week...so I figured I'd try again this season.

I got stomped and flamed solo hard in my first 2 placements, that I'm not sure I will ever play ranked again. It tilted and upset me so much I be barely even been able to bring myself to play since.

You will place Bronze 5.

Your first season of rank, you are normally placed higher than your provisionals deserve. Often around Silver even at like 3-7. Your next season of rank, you will basically always be placed 3-5 ranks lower than your ending last rank. You ended Bronze 1, you will be Bronze 5 almost regardless of provisionals.

First time in rank supposedly factors in your normal games. But most people get Silver.

What happened to you is terrible.

It's not your fault that people suck at being teammates, but you can't do anything about it.

I would suggest /mute all. Then at least you won't have to deal with flame.
