@Riot: Is there a reason that I've only seen 3 junglers the entire time I've been watching worlds?
I have not seen a single pick that wasn't Elise, Grag, or Rek.

Skarner, Rengar, Lee Sin, Nidalee, J4, Vi, Nunu, EKko, Olaf,Evelynn, Hecarim were all picked during group stage.
Strategic Diversity.
While not entirely accurate, this is still a good point.
As much as we're praising champion diversity in this tournament, as much as we're seeing a huge variety of picks in mid lane and support especially (and to a lesser extent ADC and top) we're seeing very little diversity in jungle.
Top has diversity mostly because it has a lot of power picks and is drawing bans. Diversity among the same power picks isn't true diversity though. Jungle is the same, unless Elise/Grag/Rek get banned/picked away they seem to be the picks made (outside of specific situations). That really isn't diversity at all.
What can you do though? I think there will always be at least 1 or 2 roles that have a few strongly preferred champions at worlds. They need to go with a safe early pick because every other pick involves counter picking. Jungle is the most logical place to do this to, because you don't directly face the enemy jungler (so there isn't quite the same degree of counter picks). Top and Mid are the ones most affected by counter picks.
