How to make getting Champs easier for the causal player. Some thoughts. Plus other stuff.

I'ma start with I didn't know where to post this (what board) so I choose Misc.

With the ever growing Champion pool, 130+ I think its time to have another tier for pricing.

15-20 6300 IP champs 15-20 4800 IP champs 20-30 3250 IP champs 30 1350 IP Champs 20 1000 IP Champs ~ New category. Rest 450 IP champs

Now if they used the bigger number in each group, we come up with 120 champs not in the 450 group, 11 or so in the 450 group. Add that extra low cost group would help players get different/more champions faster to help them grow their champion pool and experience on and therefore against more champions. This would also help keep them wanting to play the game for longer, as they feel like they achieve things slightly faster to keep them entertained.

I also propose adding a seconded IP boost for win of the day, so two a day. Again getting ~175 IP twice a day instead of once would feel like your IP would go up faster to get those Champs, Runes, Pages, Random Stuff that we can get with IP.

Another Idea that could go hand in hand or stand alone would be when you put champions on sale, you could knock them down a price tier(IP) for the sale period, this would help players get the more expensive ones cheaper. while having to wait for them to come on sale.

Now Lets talk Runes and Pages. I think for every lets say 50k Ip you spend (I know that sounds like a lot) on whatever, you get a Free Rune Page or ~20k worth of runes for free, of the players choice. With a maximum of 5 Rune Pages and 100k worth of Runes. (You'd have to spend 500k IP to get all of them.) This would allow players to get more then the base 2 filled Rune Pages while also still buying Champions, or Runes.

With the Ability to gain Champions, Runes, Pages faster the older Players like myself so have them all need more to sink our IP into.

You should make certain skins and all Chromas (after a period apon release) be atainable through IP.

Chromas for what ever the amount you sold em for last time. Skins for a ridiculously large amount of IP. EX. 975 Skin for 100k IP. Maybe only do skins that are less then 975 for IP so people still buy RP for Good skins you put a lot of work into.

You could also require Players to own every champion before they can spend IP on Skins so its your most dedicated player base that would have that privilege. That may sound unfair to the masses but then it wouldn't effect your revenue hardly at all.

You Riot, as a company make enough money off of ESports and Skins that I'm sure you can help people achieve all the champions faster/easier (The 1st 2/3's my post)

after about 3-4 years of playing i just have 1 champ left (nami)

and i used rp on maybe 3 champs

although the hextech chests and the token thing you buy would have made it much easier/faster if it came out sooner

there is this other game called SMITE, where i paid $20 to unlock all present and future gods, pretty sweet deal, and i can use my free currency to buy some skins, and mastery has skin rewards for each god.

A few things to address. I will try to go in order with your post.

It is 3150 not 3250 IP. Pretty sure that was a typo but just to make sure, you are 100 above the actual pricing. 1000 IP, no problems here.

Next two paragraphs I have nothing to say.

Knocking IP price on champions on sale I support. Only question would be the 450 IP priced champions. What would their price be?

Spending 50,000 IP and getting a free rune page... I find fair. Spending 50,000 IP and receiving 20,000 IP runes for free is a problem. When you purchase runes, they are permanently unlocked, meaning from rune page to rune page, you will always have your +20 HP rune. So getting 20,000 for free is too much. I remember that getting my mid lane AP rune page cost about 11,000 IP. With an extra 9,000 IP, I can get a AP jungle and AP Support (Annie, Brand, Zyra... Sona) and complete three pages, with some still left to spare. Number needs to decrease. Oh and question? Is the max page total is five or is that max purchase? So seven, then?

Support idea of Chromas and skins being attainable via IP but not the pricing. 975 RP = 100,000 IP? What? A 6,300 IP champ cost 975 RP. I know Riot puts more work in the skins than the champions themselves (as evidence by how unbalanced this game) but that IP leap is not fair. And it certainly isn't fair for the few players who purchased every single champion. That in itself is a huge amount, taking thousands of hours of play. Making 100,000 that huge is pointless. I do support, unfortunately, the 975 RP skins or lower.

Here are a few holes in the everyone needs to purchase every champion: I) If someone purchases them with RP, are they allowed to purchase the skins with IP? II) Would the option be locked when new champions are released? Must they sigh and get the new champ that they may not be intrested in to get the skins for IP? III) There are plenty of players that have found their identity in this game. Meaning, they know what type, class, or champion specifically they want to play. Forcing them to purchase other champions they do not care about and will never play to get the skins for IP unlocked is unfair for them. Not so much a hole as much as a leap of logic.

That is all I have to say about this. I will be honest, I was not thinking you were going to mention IP pricing and helping new players. I certainly do not see the own every champion correlation to this but okay.
