Anyone else just...apathetic?

Just played two games, lost HORRIBLY in both, and I felt nothing. No anger, no salt (granted I AM bitching on the league boards, dime a dozen!), just nothing. I actually may be growing up. This is a good thing though. I'm fucking 23 years old. 6 years on this game. Never was good enough to break gold other than WAY back in season 2. This is my Cataclysm. I'm losing such a level of interest so fast I don't know if i'll care anymore. I'll play with friends occasionally, but yeah. Meh.

League does have a player entertainment time valued at around 3-4 years on average. (Aka how long the average person can play league until they grow bored) So it isn't that surprising. Also could just be a short term thing, sometimes you just need a short break from a game for a while.

Interests change. What you enjoy doing today isn't necessarily what you enjoy doing later. Sometimes it just that you grow away from a game. Doesn't really mean anything in particular. Is just how it goes.

I just remember that it's just a game in the end that is meant to provide entertainment for me to have fun and enjoy, and that every new game is going to be different from the previous one. It's best to just have a balanced mindset when playing a new game.
