Can a game have a soul and has League lost its' (WARNING long-ish post)

So recently I spent some time watching an old TV show about cars. I will not mention which one, because I do not want to advertise them. However they said some things which made me think about LoL.

They were talking about old Italian cars. How they were not even close to perfect, but they had soul. How only a real petrol-head would enjoy having one, dealing with all of their problems, electric defects and so on. And for a real petrol-head that would pay off at the rare moments when they have a proper road and everything works. And that was the soul of these cars.

Thinking about League - I am pretty far away from a real gaming-head. Yes, I enjoy playing sometimes, but not too often. However I used to have fun. Sure, I had to deal with trolls, AFK-s, bad players, smurfs, occasional bugs in the game. But all of that payed off in those rare games, when there were 2 decent teams and we had a close, enjoyable game. When winning actually meant something. When we worked as a team, made plays, failed, succeeded, winning, losing.

And here comes the topic. I do not remember the last time I had an enjoyable game. I still come to play every once in a while, but I cannot find that feeling. A good, enjoyable game. There are a lot of factors - Maybe FotM champions are too strong, Maybe premades in games make me feel like I have no impact at all, maybe turrets are too weak, ADC - too strong, assassins - too annoying, mages are too weak, outside FotM. Diversity in the game is dead - people either pick the same 20-30 OP champions every game, or get stomped by them. Solo players are either carried by premades, or lose because the enemy premade group plays better than the allied one. Maybe there are other factors as well, maybe I am exaggerating. However - for me League is no longer as enjoyable as it once was. I have lost that feeling - "Alright, here comes the time, I would spend a nice afternoon/evening enjoying the game." I still play here and there, but it is no longer the same.

So, sorry for the long post. Feel free to downvote to oblivion - I do not even care about that anymore. Anyways- that's the way I feel about this game right now. For me it has lost its' soul. And for some reason it makes me sad.
