Will now be banning Bard every game so that I don't have to suffer through it again.

No, pretty sure they all suck. Bars just isn't very good in solo que. He needs coordination.
You haven't played with the right one yet. I've been maining bard for a while now, in fact since he was released. Some people are just now buying him so of course they are going to suck.
i believe bard was really made for just helping out in the new meta for the pros since normally the support will roam to other lanes to help set up ganks and what not. he is for sure a new champ that will take time to get used with all his abilities.
Bard's playstyle of leaving the carry to rot goes great with Kalista's playstyle of throwing the support under the bus.
I just ran a game as Bard support, played him pretty well.
But jesus fuck our Jarvan was nearly as immobile as Taric.
