How tolerant are you of friends who AFK when things don't go well?
Just kind of curious and also venting a bit. I just removed a player from my friends list today because in a match earlier he went AFK on the fountain because our jungler stood in a bush while he pinged for help in lane. I don't know the context of the jungler's side, I do know the guy I un-friended AFKd on the fountain and just ran around in circles telling All Chat to go ahead and report him if they felt it was needed.
I've played several games with the guy, and he likes goofing around to get reactions out of people a bit. But he also gives good advice and helps when people ask. He's a Diamond rank player, so he knows enough to be constructive and helpful. But when he intentionally AFKed just because the jungler didn't react to his request for help, I told him that wasn't cool, I didn't appreciate the 4V5. He invited me to un-friend him if I felt the need, so I did.
I sort of feel bad because it's the first time I've seen him do something like that, he's been cool up til now, but I also don't feel like gambling that he'll AFK over a spat in future games either, so I removed him.
I dunno, not sure if I'm right to be so intolerant of it or if I should've let it go since he hadn't done it before. So I'm curious about other peoples tolerance levels.
