His spells are predictable, you can dodge all of that except his stun which you can just stay out of range for.

Sadly when you're a melee..... you can't really stay out of range easily.

Ryze ult is quite good, for ganking, and running, and tower diving. His ults pretty good.

His ult is pretty good, just not in low elo because nobody there knows how to use it.
