Have the "Reds" ever touched this topic?

The fairness of basing Rank on games that include 4v5's?

I don't normally clammer for red posts. I'd appreciate if someone could just link me a simirecent post.

Lost my last series for this reason despite myself (top) and mid getting fed.

Fairness isn't based on 5v5 games where everyone is of a similar skill. Fairness is that we all have to deal with the same problems when climbing the ladder. Everyone deals with trolls, afks, DCs, and the like.

Everyone dealing with the same nonsense is the very essence of what is fair.

Really isn't much to say. Unless you can think of a fool proof system with no room for abuse.

Best they can do is balance the punishments the best they can.

Best I can think of is adding a system that will allow another player to joint he game for that champion. With the mastery system it can find similarly skilled players.

These players will not lose LP if the game is a loss but can gain for the win.

Even then this is abuseable if the player to joins is a troll. Which I guess allowing the team to vote the extra person out could help that. Chance of two trolls at once can't be common.

Top it off this extra person gain 2x IP for winning and 1.5x IP for a loss.
