@Riot, why can't we have more champion specific Summoner Icons?

We already have a few summoner icons featuring Teemo, Gragas, Veigar, Riven, Diana, Tryndamere and maybe some other champions but that's only the minority. I'd like some more diversity so I may get a chance to show the dedication to my main aswell.

I'm sure many other players would love an opportunity to represent their darlings in a proper way. Would it be too much to ask for a whole new set of unlockable/purchasable summoner icons for all those other champions?

More icons with champs on them would be cool, but I think just having the normal portraits ( Cassiopeia ) would be kinda boring. I like my masked Teemo, but I wouldn't pay for just a regular Teemo icon.

What if.. What if it was a portrait of one skin from each champion instead? Not necessarily choosing which skin, that would take more effort than Riot would put into it (let's be honest), but that would be at least a little better than having the classic portrait.

I feel like it would be nice to be able to use IP to buy the summoner icons because we usually only see them while a game is loading, so if we could use ip to buy those icons, I'll be happy with showing my dangers off more than I already do. Heimerdinger

Yeah, I'd say 1500 IP for each icon would make for a decent price. Pretty much like for the Lunar Revel and Masquerade ones.

Idea! What if you can get a champ and/or their Ultimate's pic for getting a Penta with them in game?

I've always liked the idea of unlockables by achievements in games, especially like this. Maybe not even get a penta, because it would be really hard for us fans of support, but things like 100th win with X champion, X number of kills with X champion, X number of assists, that kind of stuff.

Like, "Get a total of 500 Assists as Sona to unlock her Summoner Icon" or "Win 100 games as Teemo to unlock his Icon". That kind of stuff. Heck, some champions could even have really goofy, fun things to try. "Place 75 mushrooms in a single game to unlock the Teemo Summoner Icon"? I think so.
