I just hit Gold recently.

Things don't get better.

AFKs, ragers, trolls, leavers, they're all still there.

I just was in a game with a Shyvana who ran down mid lane dying several times while commenting about his "autistic team," of which every player should "commit suicide" because we are "worthless trash." We also had a Leona who had 1400 ping and was in and out of connection, accidentally feeding a Vayne.

It doesn't get better. Even Forg1ven, a professional, was suspended recently for being a royal turd to his teammates. So just do your best, and focus on improving your game. If you learn from every mistake, both your own and your team's, you will climb. Don't get discouraged if you lose a division; it happens to everybody.

You don't really lose until you give up. Enjoy League for the fun game it is, and if you lose, that's just another game in which you learned something new, even if it's as small as getting to know your champion better.
