no. those items are essential for taking down tanks, Whisper benefits vayne only in the sense that it makes her W hit even harder( and thats not fun) but other than that, they are ok. and to kill vayne with thornmail, build armor, not health, cause her W scales off max health. the Armor boots work the best agains her, cause it also lowers her W damage. Let me put it this way... have fun fighting a Malphite/Rammus with a full ad team with no Last Whisper.... Or a Galio with a full ap team and no Void Staff's

That's the teams fault for.going all ap or ad they deserve to lose. Black cleaver and liandrys chunk health too but noone builds them as an adc or mid
